Battlefield 4′s launch issues were a cause of great frustration and dismay for fans of EA’s series at release and beyond. Company CEO Andrew Wilson recently called the situation “unacceptable” and offered an explanation. VG247′s Dave Cook reckons his rationale is weak.

Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.
if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.
Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.
Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect

There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.
A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.

KeenGamer: "Sometimes a game starts out as a buggy mess and we all just stop and think, “that definitely could have spent a bit more time in the oven”. This is the case for these 5 games which infamously marked their place in recent game memory."
yes they didnt put hot sauce in the milk you know
Acknowledgement is a start. Now do something about it.
As recompensation for such disaster that was BF4 at launch I would like to receive BF4 Premium code for free.
They would need to release several online-centric titles that are essentially flawless before I would ever believe any "lesson is learned" talk. Fact of the matter is, a title(s) as big as BF aren't going to miss the holiday release window flawed or not.
I don't think people should play into the whole PR spiel. I find it highly ironic for them to come out and say this while were mere months away from BFH coming out. If they honestly felt this way then why didn't they say it earlier or better yet why didn't they delay the game rather than releasing it the way it was in the first freaking place.
