Wombat Source have announced plans to bring their new game, GetClose to the Wii U eShop and aiming to do so mid-October this year.GetClose is a very special game indeed, strictly a competitive 2 player game , it forces two players to sit opposite, each with one hand on the Wii U GamePad. Each player is then able to control a spherical avatar on the TV screen with their closest analogue stick. The game plays host to randomly generated levels, filled with pickups to collect, points to earn, and deadly obstacles to avoid!

Keep Your Friends Close But Your Rivals Closer.
Wombat Source really caught on to the rising trend of multiplayer games, especially with their new title, GetClose. However, will the aspect of only multiplayer drive people away from Wombat Sources fun, challenging new game?

NLife:
"If you're wondering how Wombat Source came up with the title for GetClose: A Game for RIVALS, just imagine the proximity of two people who must hold opposite sides of a Wii U GamePad in order to control their respective characters on the TV screen. Not clear enough? What about two people on either side of a Wii U Pro Controller? Now you're getting it! GetClose is a delightful indie confection that might cramp your hands and your style (as you're forced practically into the lap of the person next to you), but it will almost certainly charm you and make you laugh with its wonderful minimalist design and easy-to-understand gameplay. This is the sort of game that, with a few tweaks, Nintendo itself could have developed to help continue its pick-up-and-play philosophy from the Wii and DS days into this generation: it's that simple and effective."

Four-man Independent game development studio, Wombat Source, is getting close to releasing their Crown-capturing Wii U eShop title GetClose.
Meh, I dunno looks kinda boring kinda like Chasing Aurora. Just moving around grabbing stuff. Games like these make my eyeballs dry out, and I don't play them for long. That being said, I'm always a sucker for an indie game and a good price, so If the stars align I will buy it, and add it do my digital WiiU collection.
