During Sony’s E3 Press Conference, one of the more surprising announcements was the reveal (and simultaneous release) of Entwined on the PlayStation 4. This was by no means an announcement from nowhere — early on in April, Sony trademarked the name of the title (along with KILL STRAIN). Though MONG's team took their guesses of what Entwined was going to turn out to be, no one was able to predict the Flower-eque entangled love story between a bird and a fish. How does Pixelopus’ fledgling game hold up against the indie competition?

Pretty games aren't always great ones
Despite the flaws in Ryse and The Order... i enjoyed both and would welcome sequels.
I completely disagree...last guardian on the ps4 pro actually had SMOOTH gameplay...also if you understand what the game is about, the gameplay is very interesting...
It you only want twitchy, shooters or arcade games then you wouldn't' understand.
Also gravity rush 2 had great gameplay...It's supposed to be sorta awkward for a reason.

Indie Games are everywhere you look and when competing against mainstream games, these titles often get thrown by the way side. Here are a few titles to check out:
Seems to be a mix of reviews on this one ranging from great to awful. It's sitting at 61 or average on metacritic right now. Personally, it looked kinda cool but what I saw didn't make me want to rush out and buy it or anything.
It's good but not amazing. I beat it in about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. There are some additional challenge modes, but I haven't played around with them.
For me, one of the things I noticed was how well it worked as a textbook for introducing new gameplay concepts organically. Each level introduce new concepts that built on previous ones and were integrated slowly over the level so that you naturally ramped up your ability. Not surprised it was a game designed by game dev students.
Pros:
Soothing music/visuals
Accessible
Fairly unique amongst ps4 offerings
Cons:
Short for cost
Haven't figured out the appeal of the post-level dragon segments
Easy
3rd game revealed at the 2014 Sony E3 press event turns out to be crap.
Says it all.
