It's more like a plugin for a 3d modeller than it's own standalone in significance. He modeled most of the wireframe by just using references from the pictures, which isn't a very difficult thing to do anyway.
It did have some very nice ease of use things that are slightly more difficult in most 3d modellers though. The curve drawing thing, and the ease of connecting points especially.
