CCC Says: "A slight change of pace could have you screaming FINISH HIM before this game’s conclusion.
The avalanche of titles we were inundated with at last week’s E3 was a virtual sensory overload. Mortal Kombat was certainly on my list of most anticipated. We were promised new gameplay (after the Scorpion/Sub-Zero teaser from a few weeks back) and NetherRealm Studios did deliver as promised. The new footage gave us a further glimpse into the bone-breaking, blood spewing world that is MKX! While not exactly the Mortal Kombat story we’d anticipated, co-creator Ed Boon confirmed the game will pick up from the previous installments conclusion. However, after that, we veer off into a completely different direction, covering a span of up to 5, 10 and even 25 years into the future!"

All playable on October 5.
Cool. Wanted to play Hell Let Loose and I always enjoy a good golf game. Mortal Kombat X should have been 11 IMO though.
MKX was already in PS Plus Collection. This is the second time they've double dipped. Thank god the golf game lets u hit balls into the crowd.
Hell Let Loose looks great but it's not a casual game and a bit of a acquired taste. It's nice for people to dive in a d try it though. MKX is already on PS5 for free with the PS collection so that bad for PS5 owners and it was only two months ago everyone complained about a sports title being included as a game but yet they follow suit with another one 🤦🏻♂️
PS Plus started so well at the beginning of the year too.
Yesss!! Played HLL open beta and it was amazing. The immersiveness, the one bullet shot, you can't just go running around shooting like in CoD or Bf.
Two martial arts expert attempt to recreate some of the moves from Mortal Kombat X.

Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat XL received a minor update today that is apparently related to some interface changes as per the patch notes.
In all honesty I'm actually kinda happy about this. In a game where people are so often executed in the most "Yup. They're dead." style. How characters are allowed to return game after game after game, was a bit ridicoulous. It got wacky to the nth degree when even a confirmed dead character returned.
This is MORTAL Kombat... no sense in calling it Mortal if the characters are undying.
Eh...I don't think they'd only keep Scorpion and Sub-Zero. It seems like a really bad idea. Even Soul Calibur V with its crazy character roster revamp still had a respectable number of veteran fighters.
Rebooting an entire roster aside from two characters doesn't sound smart if you're trying to continue such an established series.
I'd be happy to see a big shake up of the roster again. They did it in Deadly Alliance and that was a cracking game.
It sounds like they're doing a SFIII/ tekken with it. the characters will be different, but have similar mive sets to the old ones. Case in point Johnney Cage/Sony Blade's daughter.
I did watch a video where they said it's 25 years after MK9 so my guess is most is not all the MK9 human characters will be old or dead. They will probably do the other characters as DLC but they won't be in story mode I guess. I'm excited for the new characters. So far I like the ones they showed
Boon already said classics are returning. It won't just be Sub-Zero and Scorpion. I bet Raiden and others will be there too. I doubt Johnny and Sony just cause of Cassie Cage.
