Mike from Twinfinite writes, "The concept of hacking into a computer system is an often-used trope in video gaming. It can be seen in a wide range of classic examples, such as Tron or Impossible Mission. It’s also common in many modern games, from Splinter Cell to Mass Effect to Watch Dogs, albeit as a minigame within the larger narrative. Black Ice is the product of developer Superduper GC, and it presents a boiled down version of hacking that presents it as a First Person Shooter set in a stark city of perpetual night."

Upon first seeing “Super Duper” Garrett Cooper’s first person action/RPG Black Ice, it is obvious that there is something special present. A project of passion that Mr. Cooper has been working on over four years, the game is shaping up to be a product of well thought design mixed with exciting action with varied weapons.

James takes on an early access game that looks absolutely gorgeous.

Serena Nelson writes: "The exhibit hall for GX3 is filled with one awesome booth after another, many showcasing great looking tabletop and video games both released and in development. Some of the most fascinating upcoming titles are currently seeking funding through one crowdfunding site or another, not to mention a few that I sampled that have just been released that have been self funded. I didn't have time today to try everything but these are the titles that quickly caught my eye."
