Review: That Trivia Game (DarkZero)

Robert Kingett: "The moment is always heart pounding. Two friends in a match in a trivia game and it is all down to one question. Fingers hover over the buttons, ready to settle the winning score in a blitz of wits. The announcer utters the final question. Fingers twitch. The game is almost over and all players are sweating rivers ready to take it all in one final choice. Some games capture this feeling with the finesse of a multi-flavored gummy bear while others have not done so well. That Trivia Game definitely holds up with some questions and answers that will make some scholars face palm but it definitely has its shortcomings that keep it from being memorable."

That Trivia Game review | Midlife Gamer

munkimatt says "Those of you who’ve read reviews I’ve previously written will (hopefully) know that I do my best to interject a little bit of humour into proceedings. The reasons are two-fold; on one hand I hope it helps to keep the readers attention and, on the other hand, it actually helps me write sometimes. If a game is bad, making a joke or two about it can give a bit of a mental lift and stop you from slipping into the pit of despair known as “writer’s block”.

I can’t do that about That Trivia Game. Because That Trivia Game is absof***inglutely wretched."

I honestly cannot fully explain how completely awful this game is.

It's pretty bad. I can't lie. I love trivia games, but this is like a bad iOS/Android Buzz ripoff...and it's a PS4 game.

That Trivia Game (PlayStation 4) Review - Push Square

Push Square: "That Trivia Game is a poor game show title with very little appeal and even less replay value. Indeed, the title’s few redeeming features are overshadowed by poor presentation and a seriously unfair scoring system. To its credit, there are a large roster of categories to select from, but the amount of questions are limited, meaning that you only need to play a few matches before you’ll start seeing the same conundrums again. We don’t do audio reviews, but if we did, a certain Family Fortunes sound sample would sum up this disappointment quite succinctly."
