I thought for sure they were going to be at least close to PS4 sales for a short while, considering how bad their numbers were for last month. Also, it seemed like there was a lot more xbone fans on N4G right after E3 than there were right before it. Which is admittedly a little weird to be honest. (shills?) idk.

Think Microsoft are suffring because they totally forgot about 360 in its last years and a lot of folk jumped over to ps3 towards the end. X1 is a great multimedia gaming machine and I think its got the better games at the mo.

Glad to see WiiU doing better, hopefully the great E3 they had can maintain decent sales until Smash hits. It's a shame that E3 2014 Nintendo came this late, Wii U might have been in a different position had it had this presence Nintendo gave at 2014 E3, at launch.

I am happy to see Wii doing very well though, : its not Wii that is doing very well, but the Wii U.

mk8 is indeed a system seller.

Patcher, it seems you were wrong as the Wii U will surpass all its predecessor except the Wii. (judging based on mk8 and Nintendo solid E3 lineup).

The Wii U could easily sell more than 60 million units b4 next gen commences and I believe that 3rd parties "even EA" will start supporting it again and with good ports.

I'm seeing a trend with Xbox. Microsoft sold almost as many 360's as they did Xbox One's, and their top selling game ( Watch dogs ) for Xbox One sold even better on 360. While that's still a win/ win for Microsoft as a whole they need to sell more Xbox One's. At this rate I'm not sure if they can close the gap between PS4 ( or the Wii U for that matter ), but at this point it's going to take a lot more than dumping the Kinect.

They had the vita at 700 a week for the month of may and it turns out they sold 56,000 for the month.

unbundling sales started at E3 so u would have to wait till the next NPD results to see if it affected anything. May was always gonna be low because ppl would be waiting for the kinectless version so sales this month suffered

I am still wondering how much ppl buy the PS4 although there are no good games for 2014 left except multiplatts and some no name exclusives. I mean, normally it should be the other way around.. MS is bringing the games while PS4 owners are waiting and waiting...

When did the Kinectless X1 Launch? If the console doesn't perform in June, then I see a as not taking a month until maybe the fall.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
