Splatoon Preview | CheatCC

CCC Says: "Squids! Girls! No it’s not some weird Japanese anime. It’s Splatoon, Nintendo’s new take on a first person shooter. We got a chance to try this casual shooter at E3, and it’s a lot deeper than you might think."

the author clearly hasnt seen the digital event. if so he would now that their are at least 3 different weapons in the trailer. the ink gun , a paintroller and a sniper rifle. the e3 demo shows only the bare mechanics of the game. when the game is finished we will see more weapons, maps and game modes

Looks like Nintendo will send this game to retail. My problem with that is, are they going to put a lot of content that justifies the 60 bucks?

Even if this game it's just multiplayer, I could pay that quantity with a good variety of weapons, 15-20 maps and different abilities for characters, I don't know.

A problem present with the game is the camera rotation. People are saying you use the right stick to look right or left, but you must use the Gamepad to look up and down, so let me call that annoying. I hope they make customizable controls.

But I'm really excited, it's Nintendo's first shooter and it looks really great and fun, plus we're getting new characters for Nintendo's roster, even if they seem to be from a bad Nickelodeon's show, that's why I love them lol

Why Is Splatoon So Popular In Japan?

How, exactly, did Splatoon reach heights rivalled only by Pokémon in Japan? New IPs from the House of Mario appear as often as shiny Pocket Monsters, yet typically move comparatively mediocre numbers or fall into relative obscurity behind the premium marques of Mario, Animal Crossing, Zelda, and Pokémon. Take Pikmin and ARMS, for example, which we adore but struggle to compete with the tentpole franchises when it comes to sales numbers or mainstream mindshare.

So, again, how has Splatoon risen to become one of Nintendo's most important series in Japan?
