He's not being rude about it and he is very likely right. Even though I plan on getting both VR headsets I don't have much doubt that the Oculus Rift will have the superior specs and give the better VR experience overall.

I still think Sony will go for a pretty low price on their VR so they'll make a ton of money selling games and more with it. It will be good enough just like a console is good enough for many people.

That’s because it’s his favourite VR adventure games thus far, a great game always a great game regardless of age - Half life 2/ Ocarina of time - are old but still among the greatest games of all time. The irony of it is several are from last year, depending on platform, have you even played VR?
