Nintendo demonstrated over and over again that they are weird, wonderful, and paying close attention to what their audience wants.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
They had the best presentation followed by Microsoft and then Sony, but it is the gamers who really won. A great E3 so far full of amazing games I want on each platform.

I dont understand nintendo, all thier great games are releasing too late into the consoles life. If they advertised and marketed more i am sure right now there would have been more wii u than both ps4 and x1 combined. Nintendo needs to understand that the general public isn't smart they just go where the most hype is.

Nintendo made me rethink my stance on fighting as a Mii in Smash.
That's something impressive, as I had no real clue how it could be fun up until they showed me.
Sword Fighter Mii for life right here!
Also, that new look at Xenoblade?
HOOOOOOOOOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAP, that's some FF-level shit right there!
I'm REALLY looking forward to that game now!
Hyrule Warriors was just incredibly awesome all around.
Playing as Midna and Zelda is looking to be really fun, and I'm glad to see that they've kept the "bosses have weak points to exploit" mechanic despite this being a Dynasty Warrior's mash-up.
It adds a level of strategy that DW games don't have.
That's a big deal.
