First Reactions: Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference

One Hit Pixel: "Although not officially an E3 press conference, Nintendo held an online-only “Digital Event” (as they did last year) to reveal all of their E3 goodies. After a hectic first day – which was technically day zero – we saw Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony all impress, so it was up to Nintendo to round off the set.

Nintendo were able to do some clever things with their conference (such as the Robot Chicken opening) and executed them perfectly. The pacing was a little off in places but for the majority it was sound. There were plenty of release dates given, a bunch of new games revealed and even a new IP – marvellous. It’s time to find out what the team thought."

Super Awesome Show Nintendo!!

I'm super excited for Yoshi's Wooly World, Kirby, Splatoon, Star Fox, Zelda, Mario Maker, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros, Captain Toad, Pokemon Omega Ruby/Sapphire, Xenoblade Chronicles X just to name drop a few....

In terms of E3 showings > Nintendo came 1st, Sony 2nd, MS 3rd.

I just ordered a Wii U from Amazon. It will take pride next to my PS4. After seeing Nintendo Direct E3, I totally had to :)

Was awesome, enjoy your purchase

Congrats! When you're looking for stuff to play I recommend Wonderful 101, RE Revelations, the Deus Ex port and Rayman legends. All of them put the gamepad to some kind of good use and all are available for $20 or under I believe. Also Trine 2 and Nano Assault Neo in the eShop are phenomenal.

Thank you...I already have Rayman Legends & Trine 2 on my PS4, both super awesome games.

I've been waiting all this year for E3 to decide if my 2nd console would be Xbox One or Wii U...??

E3 Nintedo Direct made my decision super easy...so I ordered the Wii U Mario Kart 8 Bundle, Zombie U, Mario and the Wonderful 101.

I even get it all tomorrow since I'm an Amazon Prime Member. I'm so freekin' super excited!!!! :)

snookie, you made the right choice, the wii u can't be ignored anymore, the games that are already out on it are amazing and the games coming out for it look very promising. On the games you are getting, mario kart 8 is so fun i played it for 5 hours the first day i played, Zombie u is a very underrated game but you have to expect a different type of game and it uses the gamepad very well, Mario bros u is soo good, hard and challenging but very fun, and Wonderful 101, oh wonderful 101 is well........ just wonderful:) . Other games you should look into are zelda wind waker hd, just an all around amazing game, scribblenaunts unlimited if you want a puzzle game with unlimited possibilities, such a good game and only $13 on amazon and Donkey kong tropical freeze is very good as well.

Best 2D, Mario World, best 3D, Mario 64. Can't say there's been a bad one, although Mario World 2 wasn't a true sequel. The Mario Land games were good (not the first one) and also Wario Land. I thought after Mario 64, Mario 3D World was excellent.
