I was actually hoping for that, you play as Zelda and save Prince Link. It would be a rather surprising twist to the Zelda formula. I was disappointed but the game looks AMAZING!

I don't think that's Link. I don't even think that is the main character, the horse doesn´t even have white "hair" as epona has.

I love the open world aspect too. Link between worlds let you do the temples in any order you want with the ability to rent weapons you haven't unlocked yet. It was really cool and obviously what they are going to do for this game. Can't wait!

So you were hoping for something that was gray and gritty instead of a vibrant world full of expression?

Yeah me too, i wanted that look so badly, i guess we'll have to wait until a new next gen system.

That tech demo was based off Twilight Princess. This new look is freaking amazing

I doubt they could of made a game as open looking as this one with the realistic style in the tech demo

Maybe it's easier for them to do it this way.

A Zelda 1 remake would be great, but not with the Echoes of Wisdom art style. I find it unappealing.

I'd even suggest a Link to the Past as well. Would love a more modern HD look using the Links Awakening / Echoes engine.
