GeneRally 2 - a top-down arcade racing game for Windows, Mac and Linux, currently in development, has landed on Kickstarter for its funding campaign. Aiming to meet a £20,000 goal to develop a true successor to GeneRally (originally released in 2001), the project is bringing a new graphics engine, more detailed physics, online multiplayer and much more.
Who hasn’t played the arcade racing game GeneRally? Exactly all of us did and some of us still do :) Good news: GeneRally is getting a sequel soon’ish!
In 2002 GeneRally was released as a freeware game with its typical top-down perspective gameplay. Millions of downloads later the developer blog of GeneRally comes with exciting news as the sequel to GeneRally is expected to hit Kickstarter in early 2014.
