E3 will come and go. PS4 will continue to win in sales. Xbox fans will look forward to the next "thing" that will save Xbox One. Denial will continue not matter what happens at E3.

Sony have exclusive content and games that they don't need to annouced at E3. We know stuffs not announced till gamescom, could be the state of it who knows but theres A LOT of games we don't know about. Sony just need to keep doing what they're doing. If anything we need more PS4 games on PS+ not indies. at least 1 more exclusive for this year as well.

Is the price really going to make the difference. Early indication suggests the new Xbox bundle isn't selling like mad. So why should Sony drop the price. Sony can worry about a price drop later

Last gen Xbox had a one year head start plus a much lower price point and finished the generation in third place.

Sony started out slow, but thanks to great exclusives from first party studios and a much stronger position in every market outside the US, they were able to make a huge comeback.

Sony have already done an excellent job solidifying their place at the top in the next gen console war. They'd have to really drop the ball to change that imho and it's Sony, it just isn't going to happen. There is a reason why many hardcore gaming websites are filled with Sony fans, it's because Sony listens and delivers on what gamers want.

The only way Sony's performance at E3 will suffer is if some of the idiots who post nonsense on this website were allowed to be keynote speakers.

The don't have "everything to lose." That's an over statement. Even if they totally bombed at E3 2014 they would still be in a very strong position.

They're just currently in the lead and this is their show to lose. They came out on top last year not because they had a strong product or good games, but rather because they were selling something that wasn't the Xbox One. Also Nintendo has screwed up pretty badly with the Wii U.

Either way, Sony will be fine. Win or lose. The only thing they have to worry about is a loss of sales momentum, which seems to be happening world wide, but especially in Japan.

As a PS4 and Xbox One owner and future Wii U owner I'm excited and looking toward to all 3 conferences. Hopefully Sony being so quiet is because they have a strong showing for E3 and want the games to do the talking.

The only thing Sony got to lose is if they don't bring the games tomorrow with all the theater renting and one of the exclusive games getting delayed, they have to bring the games.

Can't really say it before E3, but it might be just the case with 360 vs PS3, where after the first couple years, the PS3 started to get more and better games, since the Xbox 360 was already the best console for multiplats.

Everything to lose is a bit of a stretch, but they're definitely the top dog to try and beat this year.

Microsoft is probably chomping at the bit to try and recover some of their lost fanbase and Nintendo are going to try to reacquire their place in the race as well, Smash Bros will take the WiiU far but it's gonna need a more steady lineup of quality titles if it wants to hang with Microsoft and Sony.

When the PS3 was supposed to be doomed, Sony was still pumping out exclusives that kicked ass. They invest in games that are different.

I own a decent PC and PS4.

And enjoy both.

But i do wish PC gamers would stop bragging about silly things at times. Metro 2033 and last light are decent games, But I never knew a game could put me to sleep with it's dialogue.

BF4 is a decent game on all systems tbh and is still the best MP game.

The only territory sony could possibly lose is N.A and even then its pretty dfficult for them to do so. Internationally its next to impossible for MS to take over. I just don't see how they could ever overtake sony for this new gen.

Sony seems to know what their customers want, and deliver most of the time.
Nintendo doesn't seem to know anymore, and Microsoft thinks they can dictate what the customer needs (they changed their tune, for now..)

8 million consoles sold, 1st place. All they need is a few new games and the world domination continues. M$ hasn't gained position with Titanfall, nor with the price drop. Free bag of Doritos and 2 litre of Mountain Dew with purchase of Kinect won't work either.

How do they have anything to lose??? Last time I checked they were raping MS in sales and they will have a killer E3 as well. Uncharted will be amazing as will The Order and Driveclub. If they show a new God of War and a new Gran Turismo - GAME OVER. I am sure MS has a great show lined up as well but it is going to be near impossible to catch Sony with the lead they have and all of the momentum they will have after tomorrow to add to their ridiculous success already. I don't see how Sony has everything to lose, or that they would lose everything... They have been doing good so far and as long as they just announce a good amount of games and maybe some apps or updates coming to the ps4 (ps now is a must) then they should be able to at least coast through e3 with little problems.

By how much? 8+ million to less than 5 million. Also take into consideration that 3 million of that less than 5 million number for the Xbox Done was at LAUNCH, purchased by early adopters before the ugly truth about it's performance was fully known.
