Really wish they would cut down on the "Next Gen Filter"

Bloom and blur.

Varsarus6574d ago

These screens could do with some AA, what about the rez?, 495p?, seeing as 360's EDRAM is now maxed out :(

GiantEnemyCrab6574d ago

Yea, I was just thinking the same about the PS3 and how it's maxxed out as well considering GTA IV could not hit an HD res.

Who would of thought we would see these 2 system's maxxed out already?

(rolls eyes)

360 man6574d ago

u see vasarus it works both ways

Varsarus6574d ago

You have proof of PS3 being maxed out?

GTA IV is HD, sorry friend, but if it was 640p upscaled to 720p then Rockstar are one of the dumbest developers out there, you can only do that with software scaling on the PS3, and it takes power away from running the game, if not, GTA IV on PS3 will run at 720p, so will COD4, so on that point, I could say that COD4 will be infact running at higher res on PS3 than on 360..., fact.

360 man6574d ago

oh okay... so now i guess u hav more knowlegde at developing than developers.

hmm why yes its quite intresting

juuken6574d ago

Wow, here comes 360 man pretending to be intelligent!

CViper6574d ago (Edited 6574d ago )

GT5 runs in 1080p.

Before someone says it..

No, not Full 1080p. But 1080p. Thats higher than every 360 Graphical "OMG OMG" exclusive ever.

Why don't Xbots use exclusives to show off hardware power? And not multiplats that are originally made to run on a ps3 or a 360. Inherently one system will get lesser results.

</end>

power of Green 6574d ago

GT5 is bland and plain with no effects or anything going on. Its just a simple game with shiny paint nothing to be boasting about its so last gen it hurts to here you boast about that bland Pole Position looking POS.

CViper6574d ago (Edited 6574d ago )

First of all. Everyone here was talking about resolutions, and how resolutions show off the systems capabilities.

Everyone LOVES to use multiplats to do so, because when someone mentions exclusives. All of you xbots cry and run away. Or attack things that have absolutely nothing to do with the original argument at hand.

Its something stupid people do when they realize they have nothing else constructive to say. Your current and previous posts prove this time and time again.

Depth of field
Motion Blur
Level of Detail
Vignette
Object Motion Blur
HDRI lighting

Thats not effects right? You are such a pathetic moron. its sad to see that you have absolutely NO CLUE what you are talking about. What effects does GT5 lack outside of a damage model?? Let me call you on your bull right now. Because PGR has no damage, and it doesn't look anywhere near as good as GT5p.

Gamepro called it the CRYSIS of sims. Seriously... How much do you think your sad opinion matters? I really want to know?

2.5+ Million people bought Prologue. A demo. Its currently running at an 80 average score.

You can try to pretend its bland, and thats fine. But dont declare it as if its fact.

Facts:

GT5p Runs at 1080p. Not Full 1080p.

Now, as far as the series go. Well we have Your opinion, which is meaningless because you are just biased and hate the ps3.

then there are actual reviewers who people pay to see their opinions.
