Owen Hibbert of Entertainment Buddha writes, "So we know pretty much nothing but the concept of the Cmoar Viewer thus far, nothing but the amazing sounding concept. It is not just a head mounted display, or an Oculus rip off. No! It is claiming to support 2D (with full HD for each eye), 3D, Augmented Reality and of course Virtual Reality with head tracking. The latter of which seems to be the craze just lately. To top all of this off, the product claims to have Android, Windows Phone, iOS, PC, PS4 and Xbox One support."

VRFocus - Cmoar’s Smartphone Viewer is soon to enter its last week of Kickstarter funding. The company hopes to raise £60,000 GBP by 14th August 2014 in order to fund development of the device, which uses a smartphone screen for viewing both video and videogames in 2D and 3D, creating a VR effect for videogames. In fact, it’s even possible to stream titles from either PC or console to create makeshift VR versions of high-end experiences.

VRFocus - Cmoar Ltd. this week re-launched their Kickstarter campaign for the Cmoar Smartphone Viewer with significantly reduced targets and goals. The crowdfunding campaign was originally intended to go live last month however, and the team behind the device are obviously well aware of the hurdles they’ve faced. Talking with VRFocus Cmoar Ltd. offer more information on the device and their efforts to promote it’s funding campaign.

VRFocus - The Kickstarter campaign for Cmoar's Personal Smartphone Viewer virtual reality (VR) headset remains ongoing, but that hasn't stopped the company from releasing its VR Cinema app on Android for people to get an early look at. The app, simply named Cmoar VR Virtual Cinema, is available to download for free and can be used with a range of smartphones, though is designed to work with high-end devices for the most part.
Oh please let us see this beautiful device!
