There are tons of things that attribute to this really, such as people who play want to play as their Race( not all people) and the most people who buys these games are well white.With White dudes making games chances are you're going to get white characters, with asian dudes making them chances are youll get asian characters and it continues with other races as well. It is just how people are.

Did you just discount them because the plot goes around their history? So by your logic we should discount anything that revolves around people or families histories as well, so there goes 9/10 of characters.

Why aren't there more midget protagonists in games? Or Eskimos? Seriously if you try to force games to have a black protagonist we're just gonna end up with forced half ass characters. Writers make characters that they feel fit the story so if having a black main character helps benefit a games writing and story then I say go for it. Look at Lee from the Walking Dead game. He's one of the best black characters in gaming to date and his character and personality fit perfectly with the story and tone of the game.

Because there are a lot of white game designers and few black ones by comparison. Damn that wasn't too difficult. Know to make my own site and troll for clicks...
