The Order: 1886 Dev: Frame Rate Is Already Solid; Game Won't Be "Generic" But "Unique Experience"

GearNuke: "Andrea Pessino answers some of the questions of the fans of The Order: 1886 and assures them that even if the game isn't exactly a revolution, it won't be 'generic' but instead a 'unique experience.'"

Cool, and to the people who think it's generic here's a ha!

Nitrowolf24376d ago

I think it';s being viewed as Generic mostly because it's been only TPS against other humans. We know there are monsters, I think thats what people really want to see more of

Kayant4376d ago

The PR trying to sell the unique elements of the game has been poor but at E3 I think it will really sell the game well. Can't wait.

Kingthrash3604376d ago

we know there are monsters..that was been shown when it was first released..we also know they should keep the surprises coming until e3...showing the monsters would be a great reveal.
anyone saying the game looks generic is hating...period.

Gazondaily4376d ago

Obviously the devs are gonna say that. They're hardly gonna come out and say "our title is generic and not unique". Ultimately we decide.

For now though, Im really happy with what I've seen (minus the lack of co-op). Thr story is really cool, immortality liquid, demons, time warp aka old age new weaponry. By the premise of the story alone, we should get a unique experience.

Cant wait to see more.

How many times do we need to be here before people stop making fools of themselves:

'TLOU is just a generic TPS and looks like Uncharted re-skinned' < Highest rated game of all time.

'Driveclub doesn't look very good. Forza looks better' < new footage releases and shuts everyone but the most idiotic fans up.

Ready At Dawn are about to become the next ND.

Sevir4376d ago

The number one Delusional XB troll calls a PS4 exclusive generic? How surprising!

On topic. I can't wait

-Foxtrot4376d ago

@georgeenoob

"The reason people call it generic is it's basically just a game where you stay in cover, aim, shoot, go to next cover, aim, shoot etc etc."

Yet in the next breath you say Gears of War is better....

morganfell4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

Again it is a case of the squeaky wheel getting the grease. There are some very vocal detractors scared to death of this game. It really does look like nothing else and every opportunity is being used to pull this game apart. Guess what? You will fail.

In the past two differnt tactics have been used on games Sony produced. The first method was employed with Uncharted 1. The press did their level best to simply ignore the game. Only after UC2 did the first game recieve proper treatment.

The second technique they are using here was what happened with Heavenly Sword. I had never seen so many baseless attacks on a title. They knew they had to go after the game before it launched and that is precisely what they did. They were and are afraid. Cower and shake ladies, cower and shake.

GameDev14376d ago

@georgenoob

I didn't know Gears of war was cyberpunk or had a weapon with the ability of the Thermal rifle to disrupt enemies and then kill them

Am sure Gears of War allows you to destroy building structures too or had seamless gameplay cutscene transition.

But keep picking on that Gears of war cover pop out TPS element like it was the first game to do it

https://www.youtube.com/wat...

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

oh wait, it wasn't.two ps2 games already did that

GarrusVakarian4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

Wow @ georgeenoob

First of all, coming in here with that salty comment of yours means The Order is doing something right. Sounds to me like you're threatened by it. You should try harder not to publicly reveal how much this game makes you salty.

Secondly...all 3 Gears of War campaigns were go here>shoot>go here> shoot. Every single one, all through the campaign. So how can you call his game generic when the very game you mention straight afterwards was very generic in terms of gameplay?

I love Gears btw, but im not so blind as to not mention it's flaws, unlike you.

GribbleGrunger4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

It's going to get much worse after June, Morgan. Once the Kinectless SKU launches and fails to make any significant in roads into the PS4 sales, the press are going to go full throttle to do their level best to stop the momentum Sony are currently enjoying. It WILL fail though.

ziggurcat4376d ago

@ georgeenoob:

http://www.reactiongifs.us/...

Do you even think before you type? You just chastised a game for having similar gameplay elements as a game that you're praising for having those gameplay elements.

You've not played the order, so you can't criticize its gameplay. And did you just admit that you've not played gears, either (i.e. "Gears of War's gameplay LOOKS better")?

IndoAssassin4376d ago

Doesn'tanybody care about surprise factor anymore when you play the game. Why do you need to see it before you play it?

GarrusVakarian4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

@IndoAssassin

Is that a serious question? You expect people to pay £40/$60 without even seeing anything on a game? Yeah, that's a way to be surprised all right....but not in a good way.

Seeing some gameplay of a game before it's release helps me determine if i wanna spend the asking price or not. Taking a leap of faith with a game just for the surprise does not sound like a good idea, lol.

Diver4376d ago

this game raises the bar so far other platforms cant even see the bar.

T24376d ago

fenome4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

People don't seem to realize that TPS is pretty much a genre, it doesn't automatically make a game 'generic', or a 'clone'.

It's also not a reason to bash or criticise. It's what they do with that perspective and their game mechanics that matter. I can't believe people are going out of their way to criticise this game over a couple of sneak peeks.

I prefer third-person over first person, but' that's just my preference. That doesn't mean I'm gonna go out of my way to bash games that don't appeal to me, not every game is made for me boohoo. I love the variety, and thanks to Borderlands I enjoy certain FPS now and I can't wait for Destiny!

Haters are gonna hate, but you guys are trying way too hard.

People who consider themselves gamers should be happy about AAA new IPs, not trying to bash them into the ground and make them not want to take risks. I don't understand this mentality and it seems so prevalent now. Are you actually cool with yearly watered-down rehashes? I'm not, and I'll support and give props to these devs busting their asses for our amusement.

It's an awesome time to be a gamer, lighten up and enjoy it!

We'll discuss this more after E3 :D

dboyman4375d ago

@GribbleGrunger So you are saying that the media has a thing against Sony?

MysticStrummer4375d ago

@george - "the AI is weak"

Compared to Titanfall's AI, The Order's AI is outstanding.

CryofSilence4375d ago (Edited 4375d ago )

Georgenoob is a sociopath. He thrives off of the attention. Lets not give him it anymore.

This game is looking incredible. I actually find the new look and post-processing to look significantly improved. I'm glad they have it running so well.

MazzingerZ4375d ago (Edited 4375d ago )

I like when they don't show much and let the surprises to be discovered by the gamers.

I recall very well MGS4 because of this, the variation in each chapter was just too awesome, I wasn't really prepared for that, I thought all would be like what Kojima had showed and demoed all the time but once again, he trolled MGS fans LOL

gotta love the devs that save that experience for the gamers rather than giving away the whole eperience just to try to get as much pre-orders as possible, here we are talking about a talented dev, with SSM and SONY behind, do we really think the game won't be good?

It will be awesome

UltraNova4375d ago (Edited 4375d ago )

Why people are not contend with a new AAA ip when they are a dying breed nowadays ..I don't get it. Maybe I should reconsider my stance on gamers bitching balancing things out with under-delivering developers.

Its a TPS what do you expect? They showed there vision and it seems to me they are sticking to it if not over-delivering (in graphics at least)what more do you want? If your are not into this type a game then ignore it and shut the hell up.
And if you plan on buying a game, criticize constructively don't bitch.

Dude, the game is not even out yet, it could be the next uncharted or the the next Haze. People can think what they like now and it is their opinion until we get to see more of the game.

I thought Wolfenstein: New Orders looked generic too but it turns out great.

I also thought Killzone Shadow Falls would be revolutionary too but it turns out to be a generic shooter in my own point of view after renting it for a few days a week after the PS4 launch.

nucky644376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

what's funny about any of the "generic" comments being made (whether here or other places like youtube) is that i have yet to see anyone elaborate on it. the word generic comes out but nobody ever says anything as to why they find it that way....or how they can apply that label to a short trailer of an unfinished game.
from what i've seen, i'm very interested and want to play - it looks fun.

Mega244376d ago

Fanboys are going to be fanboys, no one cares about fun anymore it seems.

Some of us are of dying breed.

pyramidshead4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

You gotta think about it though. Every game can be literally summed up by their basic genre traits. Hell the next call of duty will have bland generic gameplay for instance: You'll shoot stuff, you'll reload and you'll hide behind things so you can't get shot. That literally sums up any first person shooter.

The last gen or boring gameplay remark is odd because we had almost 8 years of it and were totally fine with it. Some people are fanboys looking for something to bash on a game while others have unnatural high expectations for devs to suddenly recreate the wheel within respected genres of games.

If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.

Funfact: If you actually ask a person who's just laid down a remark about bland or generic gameplay what they would actually want, I guarantee they'll struggle to answer.

creatchee4376d ago

I'm waiting for the day when a studio comes out and says: "what we have here is a generic shooter."

brich2334376d ago

Dont be blinded by the graphics, it looks like a game crytek made so far.

kingduqc4375d ago

from what I've seen it's pretty far from unique.. Shot at the bad guys

ArbitorChief4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

So it's unique because it transitions generic TPS gameplay with cut-scenes that are in game... Or is there something else that makes it unique that the developer is not mentioning?

Omran4376d ago

No it needs robots and jetpacks in the back
of the protagonists to be unique, yeah I mean like
titanfall !

haters gonna hate lol, and FYI halo looks generic
to me happy or what :)

ArbitorChief4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

Ok... I was just asking a genuine question of what makes it unique, didn't mean to get you upset.

@FlunkinMoney
Everything you listed for it being unique could be applied to Halo as well. Visuals and cut-scenes are not unique.

Omran4376d ago

ArbitorChief

you tell people they get upset but the fact
you are upset because every article that mention
the order we see you trying to bash the game !

Majin-vegeta4376d ago

We've seen like what a total of 10 min of gameplay of it?Think E3 will find out when everything gets shown.

PrinceOfAllSaiyans4376d ago

Not even 10 mins. We've seen like 4 mins of gameplay tops.

OT:The only people bashing this game are MS fanboys who don't want to buy a PS4 to experience it. I guarantee that if thus was a XB1 exclusive MS fanboys would be all over it.

FlunkinMonkey4376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

The setting is unique, the weapons appear to be completely unique, the graphics are unprecedented on other consoles making that unique. The transition between cut scenes and gameplay seem to be the best i've seen making that unique.

Stop trying to preach when your favoured game, judging by your avatar, is the epitome of generic.

Don't try and play the 'only asking' game, makes you look soft. Stick by your trolling guns, makes you appear less cowardly.

Visuals don't make a game unique? Are you stupid? And yes, a seamless transition between gameplay cut scenes, not seen done so well (by myself anyway) making the story and gameplay blend transparently, does make for a unique experience.

Halo's guns are generic as hell, the protagonist is generic as hell. You are not making much sense, just like you don't make sense in every other Order article, just a child scared of a game being good on another console.

Even if you argue the same points with Halo (making it generic), then why have a problem with this game and not Halo (don't even try and use the title of this article, you've said the same thing in every The Order article)?.

Cry more.

nucky644376d ago

arbitor - explain how YOU would make a third-person shooter. if you feel that the genre is "generic", what would you do to make it "unique".

4376d ago
styferion4375d ago

maybe they don't elaborate because it'd contain spoilers

kenshiro1004375d ago

You haven't even touched the game and it's not even out, yet you're screaming generic?

Going by your logic, Gears of War, Titanfall and Halo are also generic since they offer NOTHING new.

RAD did an awesome job developing 1886. The visuals are incredible but I wished RAD had shown us something different. You just can't use the same actions scene over and over again. The first time was ok but seeing the same thing again gamers(including me) might not be happy.

I hope RAD take this as lessen learned that what's obvious to them, might not be obvious to others.

EDIT: I really meant to say that RAD shouldn't use the same game play actions over and over.

SamPao4376d ago

So you get surprised the first time you play it :) I love their new marketing direction. They don't show too much.
Perfect

jhoward5854376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

No, I rarely get excited when I play a game for the first time. You missed my point.

I wasn't talking about myself. I was talking about RAD. I do understand that RAD cant show us much game play footage but at least they should've been mindful enough to know most people like to see a game do different things.

Prime ex: Sunset overdrive demo. The demo showed us a few things about how the game plays. I don't expect
don't expect RAD to do the same thing but least give us a few clues to get a btter ideas of what they're sailing.

SamPao4376d ago

well I personaly thought I've seen it all from Sunset overdrive, there is nothing more to the game than what we have seen. Of course they are going to implement way more, but. I've seen it. As for The Order: 1886 I have a feelin that I have seen nothing. and that is a good thing because I want to see more!

jhoward5854376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

Keyword word "FEW"
I personally don't think you've seen everything that sunset overdrive has to offer. LOL

Now as for the play mechanic we've pretty much got a good glimpse on how the game plays.

The order on the other hand, was nothing more than a simple point and shoot game. My point is, RAD could've shown us something different and leave the point and shoot scene out. Ive seen the cover system game play enough in my gaming life. so seeing it again is boring. Now that doesn't mean I don't like that kind of game I just would rather see something different than what was shown in the last demo.

larrysdirtydrawss4375d ago

ready at dawn didn't show this, sony did,rad devs were clueless

Dark114376d ago

The settings are definitely unique , not sure about the gameplay though.

sin72794376d ago (Edited 4376d ago )

This game is generic only for fanboys and trolls!

Imalwaysright4376d ago

Its generic because isn't doing anything new just like 99.8% games that have ever been made. Prety much every game is generic and I don't understand why it bothers you guys so much that someone thinks it is. Some of my favorite games are generic and I don't have a problem with that maybe because is the rule of thumb to pretty much EVERY game made.

Why add multiplayer when the single player (despite enjoying it for what it was) had flaws?

You'd work out the issues with how you craft the single player then once you’ve perfected it do multiplayer after.

"Two sequels were planned for the franchise, The Order 1891 and The Order 1899. While the third game was never in development, Weerasuriya says he had planned where the story of the franchise was planned to go, if he had been able to develop the full trilogy."
...
Alas, we'll also might never get the PC version of 1886, which is currently residing in some dev's hard drive, nearly ready for a release if required.

It’s a shame we didn’t gave its chance to this franchise.
Game world was very interesting, and gameplay could have evolved to a major hit with sequels.
Not even speaking about graphics that were way ahead of their time.

I think MP being co-op would’ve been awesome. Essentially, I always viewed this as Sony’s take on the Gears series.

However, it really failed to measure up to what I expected. I definitely saw the potential but there were some things that really bogged it down for me like the forced slow walking segments (which I know was to hide loading), the repetitive warehouse werewolf fights, not enough variety in enemies, oddly we fought more humans than Darkstalkers, and the stealth sections were infuriating.

One thing there’s no denying though, this damn game was a looker. Such a shame at the wasted potential.

The Order: 1886, a Ten Year Reunion

WTMG's Leo Faria: "After finally playing the now decade-old The Order: 1886, what do I think about it? Is it really worthy of all the hate it has received over the past decade? Or is it some kind of hidden gem? I honestly think it falls somewhere in the middle. I loved the setting, the story is initially fine, the combat isn’t half-bad, and the potential for some awesome world building was there. It was all bogged down by too much ambition against a tight deadline, as well as poor marketing. As a result, it’s short, full of plotholes, infested with QTEs, and not exactly memorable as a whole. As a game you can grab for less than ten bucks today, I absolutely think it’s worth checking out. It’s one hell of a wasted potential, but for such a discount, I had some fun with it, and I’m sure you will too."

Great setting, great graphics, even decent gun play, but what a trash of a game. The fuck were these people thinking? We could've had something like an Alan Wake 2 meets Mass Effect 2 style game. With investigations, creepy locations to uncover and explore, people to talk to and even recruit, clues to uncover and connect, monsters to slay, side quests to get lost in, and a more expansive lore to go with it.

Instead we got a shitty AAAAAAAAA Third Person Pew Pew snoozfest. Awesome.

The order 1886 was one of the best games I played on ps4. Within a top 5 best ps4 games I'd put the last of us 2, the order 1886, days gone, horizon zero dawn and God of war.

SimpleSlave451d ago

"The order 1886 was one of the best games I played on ps4. Within a top 5 best ps4 games..."

Jesus H. Christ, bud. You just sound like a Sony apologist. What the fuck? Anyways. Good luck with that or whatever.

coolbeans451d ago

God. The "what could've been" you're describing would've been way better than just being the most empty cinematic shooter slop of that generation.

SimpleSlave451d ago

Right? I mean, I can understand people enjoying this thing ironically. Knowing that it sucks but still enjoying it for what it is. I get that. That's fine. We all have our guilty pleasure no doubt. But to come here and actually pretend that this is a top 5 PS4 game? Wow!

To pretend that this barely there game is anything more than an "empty cinematic shooter slop of that generation," as you said, is beyond ridiculous. But I guess Self-Awareness is some expensive ass DLC still.

Espangerish451d ago

SimpleSlave451d ago

Yeah, OK. You want to lie to yourself? You do you, bud. But like I said to the other Sony apologist, "good luck with that or whatever."

-Foxtrot451d ago

Jesus, it had some flaws but you're acting like it was unplayable.

It built a foundation, a rocky one but a sequel is where they could have refined things.

Personally my only issue is I feel like the "Gears of War" like over the shoulder gameplay, especially getting into cover and the like didn't really fit the game as much. In Gears you understand that kind of gameplay because they are wearing super heavy amour and guns but in the Order these guys are super human, they should feel more of a breeze to control, easily jumping over things and being allowed to climb whatever similar to Uncharted.

I can't believe sony turned down a sequel to the order 1886 which ended basically on a cliffhanger. The game is amazing and I would love a ps5 pro enhanced version just like I'd like a driveclub ps5 pro enhanced version.

DodoDojo461d ago

About 2 million sales and not the greatest of reviews, I can believe it.

Tbh there's a lot of dormant Sony exclusives that are more deserving of a sequel.

ravens52461d ago

Have you played it? Just curious.

ABizzel1461d ago (Edited 461d ago )

2 million probably wasn’t enough to make a strong profit on, and the mid reviews didn’t help, even though it was a solid game just short, and could have expanded way more on the creature mythos.

Days Gone: +7 million / mid reviews (no sequel)
Infamous SS: 6 million / mid reviews (no sequel)
Killzone SF: +2 million (4 mo.) / mid reviews (no sequel)
Driveclub: +2 million (2015 / leaks say 5m) / mid reviews (no sequel)

Basically it looks like for the PS4 generation budgets were getting out of control and Sony made the decision

sales + reviews - budget = sequel or no sequel

Toecutter00460d ago

Two million in sales for a new IP is pretty impressive. The world-building was in a class on its own. Any moron could see this IP had mad potential and the fact that Sony balked on it makes one question their competence and leadership.

Cacabunga460d ago

Nothing to do with sales. It’s all about the broken vision that Sony is having lately.

Outside_ofthe_Box461d ago

Exactly. I came to post exactly this. The game was torn apart upon release. It's not shocking that a sequel was denied.

S2Killinit461d ago

Not “upon” release. There was a whole campaign “prior” to release.

In my opinion they should have made it a bit less linear and it would have been great. I did enjoy it. But the reception it got makes sense that Sony wouldnt want to risk a sequel if it was going to open up a can of worms with people who wanted the first one to fail.

It was panned because of the graphics hype. Kind of similar to Ryse and hellblade 2...although the story was pretty interesting in all 3.

It’s strange though Sony would be so proud about their work and overall quality but wouldn’t give them an extra year to, give them that quality.

Anyway he talks about if it was in the 70s they’d have had their sequel but Days Gone is at 71 on Metacritic and we don’t have a sequel.

Both games should have one, I think they deserve a second chance at refining and building onto that foundation already laid out.

neutralgamer1992461d ago (Edited 461d ago )

Definitely days gone 2 should happen. Who knows maybe now Sony will let them make it since bend had to cancel its live service game. Days gone 2 for PS6 sounds amazing

As far as order 1886 sequel it would be have been interesting. I think if this game was a RPG with 15 hour story it would have done so much better. Don't get me wrong game is great but you can tell the potential is there if they were allowed to make some drastic changes

Sadly this new Sony is not the PlayStation they are suits and spreadsheet guys. Playstation has lost its touch with gamers. I miss Shawn jack Andrew house etc

At the launch of PS4 Playstation was at its full strength with gamers running the company but not anymore. No we have a guy who loves horizon above every thing else and is willing to fund projects based on that IP

Redemption-64461d ago

So an IP that actually sell? Sony moved away from the type of games you saw during the launch of the PS4 because many gamer didn't support them. I hear people crying more about say Japan Studio closing than actually supporting their games when they were open. Wasn't it shawn layden who said many of these games fail and you hope a few like horizon to make up for the failed games. Maybe if gamers actually supported these games there would be more of them. Shocking right?

There is no sequel for Days Gone because it didn't sell. The director himself said "If you love a game, buy it at f****** full price. I can't tell you how many times I've seen gamers say 'yeah, I got that on sale, I got it through PS Plus, whatever'.”

Majority of the sales from days gone came from when it was heavily discounted, and I have seen many gamers say they will not pay full price or the game isn't worth full price, but they will buy it when it's discounted. Yet they get triggered when the studio decides to move away from a game they refused to support at full price

What this is showing is that the majority of people don’t like the price. It doesn’t mean they don’t like the game. Two different dimensions.

Example: The company Take Two took advantage by selling NBA 2K at $20, completely undercutting NBA live to become the most popular basketball game. High priced games isn’t the only way they can make money.

Well. If we are going to go off that director apparently Days Gone hit 8 million sales around the same time frame that Ghost of Tsushima later did.

https://x.com/JakeRocket/st...

One was considered a failure, the other a massive success so I don't think it just boils down to sales.

Redemption-64461d ago

@Foxtrot

Hey, maybe you clearly know more than the director/writer. If memory serves me right, Days Gone went on sale faster than Ghost. Also, please know budget is a major factor. There is a huge difference between Ghost with a budget of $60M selling 8M, vs Days Gone, with a budget of $250M selling 8M after major price cut. One can be considered a success, because it had a much lower budget.

Don't Complain If a Game Doesn’t Get a Sequel” If You Didn’t Buy It “At F-cking Full Price, clearly shows the game didn't make the money it needed to make within the time frame it needed

Redemption-64461d ago

@jwillj2k4

What is shows is majority of gamers didn't think Days Gone was worth the $60 price tag and clearly Sony agrees with them. You can like a game, but if you don't think it is worth the price tag, why do you complain when the company decides to not invest in a game you don't think is worth what they are charging? They should release the game, lose money, cut the price and then you will support it?

jwillj2k4459d ago

Reading is fundamental. I said start with a reduced price not cut the price after you’ve already released it. It was an example to show how there are other ways they couldn’t make money. The idea is that number of buyers is much greater at $20 than $60. I didn’t think I had the point that out to you.

Redemption-64459d ago (Edited 459d ago )

@jwillj2k4

The number of buyers being greater at $20 than $60 does not equate to more money. You literally have to sell 2-3 times more to makeup the difference. Starting with a reduced price for an AAA that costs say $250M is pure stupidity and again would have to sell 2-4 times more depending on the reduced price break even. Or include micro transactions. They can make it into a free live service game with mtx. Yeah, you are right, maybe they should follow the route 2K NBA took

Clearly many don't think the game is worth $60. Who knows maybe the remaster can give it hope. But it would be funny if they get a sequel and people refuse to buy it at full price. Highly doubt those who think the game isn't worth 60, will be lining up for 70.

Days Gone deserved so much better than 71. I’ve noticed that some PlayStation games get attacked and it feels generated. Like money is behind the hate campaign.

-Foxtrot461d ago

Days Gone was that one game which wasn't really attacked by gamers but by journalists.

As soon as it was revealed they really didn't like it for some reason, it was made out to be because it came across as a generic looking open world game or another generic "zombie" game but at the time we had plenty of open world games and a fair few "zombie/infected" games that these journalists didn't bad an eyelid towards.

When the game released broken before the Day One patch it just gave these journalists a massive excuse to slaughter the game in their reviews.

On one hand, a game shouldn't have released in that broken state or at least they shouldn't have given journalists a copy without the Day One patch HOWEVER these are the same journalists who usually gloss over that kind of stuff with so many other games, take Star Wars Outlaws for example, the game was a buggy, broken mess at launch with plenty of issues, bad AI, some clear performance issues and a lot of quality of life improvements needed but it still did a lot better than Days Gone at launch.

Personally I think they knew they could get away with it more because Sony Bend weren’t that high up and respectable, they knew calling their game out as much as they did wouldn't hit them with any major consequences unlike if they hypothetically were like this towards NaughtyDog, Sony Santa Monica or Insomniac.

Yea and there was/is a PC version of 1886 too in 2016 ... but now maybe collecting dust in some dev's hardrive.

Relientk77461d ago

That's lame. It's not perfect, definitely a flawed game, but deserves a sequel. You already have the first game as a starting point just need to improve upon it. This could have been a much better sequel like the jump from Assassin's Creed to Assassin's Creed 2. The IP has potential.

S2Killinit461d ago

But Assassins Creed sold a lot.
