Stompz Getting Gesture Recognition, Kickstarter campaign

VRFocus - Matthew Carrell, the creator of the Stompz foot-based controller for virtual reality (VR) titles, has confirmed that the device will incorporate gesture controls in a new update. Carrell revealed as much during a 60 Second Pitch session at the Silicon Valley Virtual Reality (SVVR) Conference & Expo 2014. He didn't get quite enough time to explain exactly how it will be incorporated, though.

Stompz Launches Kickstarter Campaign for Feet Controlled VR

VRFocus- Those who have followed VRFocus over the past year will be familiar with Stompz, a unique form of input for virtual reality (VR) videogames from creator Matt Carrell. This new kit allows users to strap controllers to their feet in order to control experiences in a realistic fashion. Today sees Carrell launch a new Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for the system, hoping to raise some $100,000 USD in order to fund its continued development.
