The first footage emerged from the beta of Watch_Dogs caused mixed reactions, mostly because the quality of most of the footage was low. It hasn’t been rare to see people comparing the game to the visuals of Grand Theft Auto V, or even arguing that it looks worse. Things have started to get out of hand when that kind of misconception started to filter over to a few media outlets.
Luckily a reader that opted to remain anonymous took it upon himself to send DualShockers 15 high quality screenshots snapped from the PS4 beta of the game that can help judging how the game really looks.

O'Dell Harmon Jr. writes: "Before we say goodbye to 2025, let’s take a look back and see what were the most downloaded games of the year. It was a great time for sports, shooters, and some new PlayStation VR2 games. Sports favorites topped the charts in US/Canada and EU, with NBA 2K26 and EA Sports FC26, respectively.
Juggernaut GTA V found a home in the top three for both regions, with new 2025 release Battlefield 6 claiming second place in the US. Fortnite took top place for free-to-play games, and Beat Saber continues its PS VR2 success."
It’s funny to watch the only games EU and USA agree on was Minecraft and back ops 7 both regions on 6 and 7 spot respectively other than that FIFA rules EU
I would like to see a list that has both free to play and paid games together, but at least we have this.
To this day GTA5 is a top downloaded game and it makes me wonder if the industry is really ready for GTA6. I imagine almost nothing else will sell during that game's release window.

Another night of Fortnite with the boys then?
I’ve never played Fortnite GTAV or CoD BO7 but I do own GTAV for PS4/5 because I got them cheap.
Revolution Team, the modding team behind GTA Vice City NextGen Edition, has announced GTA: San Andreas NextGen Edition.
I'm surprised modders haven't taken GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas and connected them as one big game. I remember GTA 3, you had to complete so much of the game to open up the other part of the city, which was connected by a bridge, although there was a flying car cheat.
It's a shame they didn't hit 1080p, the image doesn't quite have the clarity that games such as Infamous SS or AC4 have...but nevertheless, it's good looking game considering it's on 6 separate platforms. The world looks very detailed and the night-time looks amazing in the rain. I'm impressed.
I also found this GIF from the PS4 version- http://i.minus.com/iEHzfpcZ...
Pretty impressive explosions if you ask me, although they do look a little like baby powder, lol.
I can see this game being modded to unbelievable visual fidelity on PC. There is a lot of good stuff to work with in the vanilla version.
I can already see us being bombarded with screenshots and videos of Watch Dogs PC Lighting Enhancing Mods for the next few years.
PS4 version looks great aswell.
you know what, how come no people suggest that while PS4 version looks fantastic, it is just xbox one version looks like gta5?? Because the footage of the final version which looks like gta5 is the xbox one version. How come people still expect xbox one's version will look the same or even close to ps4's version after so many examples of xbox one's version of multiplatform games being significantly inferior?
PC version with HBAO during day time will look unbelievable but the ps4 is missing some lightning effects.
