Gamingverdict takes a long hard look at the way which motion controls are being used on the Wii, and begins to ask the question of whether or not it's realistic to continue to hope for motion controls to realize their full potential on Nintendo's console.

The Wii is now a retro console. Let’s get nostalgic about an often maligned system.
Crazy to think the WII is to the Switch 2, as the NES was to the WII back then. 20 Year difference.
My wife asks me to bust it out (heh) everyone once in a while to play bowling and tennis with the kids. There was a ton of slop on it but some good stuff as well.
Wii was great but boy howdy did it cause Microsoft to go on a dark walk with the Kinect and the disastrous XBox One launch that they arguably never recovered from.
Not nostalgic for me.. I was there.. anyone who wasnt a little kid realized it was a gamecube with shit tacked onto it, it was the "joke" system and was well below even the switch in terms of comparing it to the latest machines at the time. The machine was well loved by young people and "casual gamers" who now remember it 20 years on, or in most cases more of its sales came in the 15-20 years ago range not right at launch- but again its not nostalgic for people who were "gamers" then really, just for those who ended up with one in their house, the games , graphics, interface and online features were archaic already in 2006.
Omar writes: "With the Horizon Festival coming to breathtaking Japan, you’ll need the essential gear to prove you’ve got what it takes to become a Horizon Legend as you cruise, drift and explore an open world full of spectacular driving experiences. That’s why we’re happy to announce the newest Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Wireless Headset collection, featuring inspired designs from Forza Horizon 6. The bright cyan and lime colorways celebrate the Horizon Festival’s recognition of iconic cars and hit music, with special features that are sure to impress any collector."

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
Most of the games just involve swinging your arms about, it's hardly bringing things forward, is it?
not many games for the system of are interest to me. I just want a great golf simulator to play and I'd be happy for a decent amount of time. A golf game that is the full package. Above average graphics for a Wii title + great motion contol ability. I have been let down by tiger and the silly arcade golf games thus far. Also can we get a decent fishing game?
That's right because true motion capturing and 1:1 can only be found on the Ps3 Sixaxis, who is game vedict 1.
I mean can someone really just make some website out of the blue and get a spot on N4G?
This article gets a +1 for FUD dispesing, good try go home Virals.
I did read the article, my response was to the click seeking title.
Nice way to even try to explain the article by the way, or the many points it hit on the head, oh wait no you just decided to attack me personally. ;)
It's really a shame the Wii is like a table with too much on top of it. It'd be nice if there was some quality control involved to stop shovelware, but that wouldn't be good being all free market and such.
I suppose it won't stop them from making money, but the article makes me feel that Nintendo is losing sight of the more faithful or just losing integrity in some shape or form.
