There is no denying what a huge financial success GTA V has been — when a game makes a billion dollars in its first three days that much is obvious. But is the game any good? In the case of GTA V, one could argue that it is actually two separate games: a traditional single player campaign and an online multiplayer version of the game.

GTA Online player base & revenue on PlayStation platforms are almost twice of that of PC/Xbox combined, according to a recent Rockstar leak.
PlayStation is GTA and GTA is PlayStation, they're going to kill it when GTA 6 is finally released 😏.
I know of people that own a PS4 exclusively to play gta5, and that’s all they play. I’m sure some of you here know of someone too. I’m surprised at how low the revenue for PC is.
That’s because most PlayStation fans are ghetto. Source…Every ghetto person I know, plays on PlayStation.
Actually really surprised with the PC revenue which is an abysmal 3% overall vs Console (PS and Xbox combined) at a whopping 97%. It now makes sense why Take Two/Rockstar prioritizes Consoles. Heck, they could even delay the PC port release 2 to 3 years and it wouldn't make any impact at all.
Your favorite island paradise just came down with a deadly case of party fever. As if a major narcotrafficking island wasn’t dangerous enough, it’s now been overrun by the undead — and maybe it’s the drugs or the tropical climate, but this time they’ve got a whole lot weirder.
Cut your way through waves of undead, including conquistadors armed with muskets, Panther Trainers and their feral pets, swarms of Splitters, and more in the new Cayo Perico Survival. Fight through these hordes and make your way to the airstrip — then pray your evacuation plane doesn’t take too long.
Welcome to the tourist trap.

There are many benefits with mode bonuses and discounts in the weekly GTA Online updates. Here is everything for November 21-27.
Well, this is the main reason why people say you shouldn't review things like online, MMO's and the like beyond maybe the mechanics. Ultimately no one has any control over what will happen in the future and every experience is going to be YMMV in nature. For instance, Mercenary Kings was "glitched" in a way that made "Private" more of a "host" option (Only people could join you, but it wasn't limited to invites, thus the glitched remark). The issue was that I would constantly get random newcomers in my room, when I just wanted to play with my friends, which caused something of a dual reality.
In my reality, I got some worthless person that made my missions more difficult, my experience less enjoyable and was only a burden. For them, they were playing with two gamers that knew what they were doing, were over powered, knew the maps extremely well and were looking to finish each mission before the target time. So while my experiences were poor, that same person in the same party, probably had a great experience because of random chance.
Thats really how these things boil down and everyone is different, much like every experience and situation. Sure it sucks for online only games, though it's also well within your power to try to prevent this too. Typically smart people find like minded people to play with either publicly or privately (getting the experience you enjoy) or they find people who know how to stop snipers in an FPS, fighters that can curb stomp people relying on projectiles and the like.
