
The Original Xbox wasn't exactly renowned for having a robust lineup of role playing games. There were some notable ones however: Jade Empire, the KOTOR series and Fable to name a few. With the advent of the Xbox 360 Microsoft has taken great strides to deliver some truly great RPG experiences on the platform. The Xbox 360 is home to not only the most Western style RPGs but is currently the console of choice for even the JRPG sect of RPGs.
One can't deny that Microsoft has truly put forth a great initiative to diversify the Xbox 360's catalogue of games to make it a great console of choice for the RPG enthusiast. This article is a synopsis of the RPGs that have been released on Xbox 360 as well as a look into the future of the genre on Microsoft's platform.

Microsoft has done a great job of rounding out their RPG portfolio. There is a good mix of both Western and Eastern themed RPGs. I read a while back that Mistwalker is also working on an RPG called Cry-On.

the more - exclusive - rpg's the 360 adds to its library, the more I'll play it. Additionally, I think expanding away from the whole run-and-gun genre helps dispel the frat-boy aura surrounding the box.
Anyways...it took my forever to load the page....so it must be a good sign :)
Im starting to think theres more RPG's then there are Shooters on xbox.
