I actually own Haze, and I didn't think it was a bad game at all, certainly not as bad as a 4. However, when you look at the top 4 games sold this week it should be deemed a flop as far as console-moving goes. I understand the way sales work, and Haze is not pushing any consoles. Maybe you should understand the way reading comprehension works and notice that I was using the software sales in reference to hardware sales. Selling 70,000 copies less than GTAIV (360) is nothing to be overly proud of. I guarantee we will see a steep drop off for Haze next week, followed by a spike in used copies at your local gaming shop.

or to anybody who loves the whole metacritic sales to determine if its a AAA title, does that mean its not since its around 8 on metacritic?

because Ninja Gaiden 2 is supposed to be a heavy hitter for the 360 this year (you can ask any fanboy in here), so if it does indeed sell 100,000 units I will type right here that it is a flop even if it has a 10 on metacritic. We are talking in terms of sales here and not ratings. Haze did better than I imagined it would after the reviews, I'll admit, but a great success it is not. I'll ask you this, do you think that a self-anointed Halo-killer should sell 100,000 units in its first week? VGChartz is wrong half the time anyway, so this argument could become totally pointless once the NPD numbers are released.

Reading comprehension? Give me a break. You called the game a flop. Had I commented on what you said you meant after the fact I would have been reading into what you said. The truth is that from a moving consoles standpoint, if we look at things from a purely Wii Fit or Haze perspective, then not quite 1 of 3 people bought Haze or Wii Fit for each respective console sold last week. Of course we don't have the numbers on which new console owners bought which games so of course even that is absurd. Again, you called the game a flop, meaning that the game is a failure/didn't sell well/etc. Even if what you said afterward is to be believed as your original intent, it doesn't make any sense based on your supposed comparison.

I happen to understand sales very well, and I presented valid reasoning in my second comment as to why I said Haze flopped. However, instead of actually responding with the snide, but passive (of course) "duno why youd think otherwise". I was debating with you and held back on deeming you a noob until you actually proved to be one by not bringing any facts to the table. People disagree with me all the time on here, but you just showed a complete lack of respect, so you will not get mine in return. If you would have presented me with an offer for decent, respectful conversation, perhaps that's what you would have received.

IF there is one game to be defending right now, I would imagine most people would tell you that Haze is not it. You are, admittedly, totally correct when you say that we don't know exact numbers on who purchased new consoles and bought those specific games. However, your one of three argument neither proves or disproves anything. The fact of the matter is Haze was released with average numbers for an exclusive and the PS3 saw a 12% drop in sales, while Wii fit sold nearly a million copies and the Wii had a 160% increase in sales.

I'll end my part in this by saying that in my view, you guys, and all gamers in general are my brothers and sisters. actually Haze did really well considering how it was getting slammed. 122K+ in really 4 days is not bad at all. I bought the game, and am enjoying it. Is it revolutionary? No. Is it going to change the face of the PS3? No. Its a regular FPS with a fun co-op element included with a convoluted story about the state our world today and its perceptions.

The Nintendo way man... Hold it. When a Brawl (MGS4) come out, you have plenny shipped. Peple that don't even care that much, shall get one so he don't have to do a line again.
