This is the GTA IV Ballad of Gay Tony and the Lost and Damned all over again. MS paid for the development of these DLC. Touted as exclusive. Then eventually they came to the PS3.

There might of been a clause in the contract of some sort having to do with sales. @george that game was bundled for free with a discount on the bundle and it still couldn't outsell ps4. Why wouldn't EA do whatever it takes to put it on a console that has outsold the other 2 to 1?

contracts do get broken all the time but imagine the stipulations that ms put in as a fail-safe probably not worth ea doing money wise obviously it was intended to be multiplat so respawn would be behind the decision but like i say i imagine contracts of this size have some form of "if you don't adhere to the terms this happens" so it could cost them money when they could just wait for the better sequel and launch console multiplat

Sure, it eventually happened, so Titanfall lifetime exclusivity isn't assured, but if it comes to the ps4, I highly doubt it will be so soon after the original launch. In other words, I don't buy this rumor.

I'm not really sure it matters at this point. It's already doing very well. Take away all the gamers that don't have both XB1 and PS4, then don't have a PC, and then don't have a 360...out of those players left, the number of people that still want to play this game isn't that large if you believe everything here on N4G to be a true representation of the gamer world. True it'll be great for PS4-only players to play it. It's an awesome game, I love it, hopefully you will too.

However, PSN would have to allot a large chunk of their dedicated servers to make this happen. There is no guarantee that the game would run at 1080p/60fps. It may be likely though, being as all the RUMORS indicate that the XB1 version MAY get a bump to 900 through an update....so 1080p isn't unheard of on PS4. However, being as PC max setting comparisons with the xb1 version yielded very little differences at all, I'm not sure that will be a big deal, this game will benefit more from the more solid network.

I guess all I'm saying is that, if someone wanted to play this game, chances are they already have a way to do it. It's unlikely, but not impossible that Respawn/EA will break the lifetime exclusive deal to bring it to PS4, despite already being very successful and most likely not picking up much more customers by putting it on PS4. Even so, I imagine XB1 will still be the lead platform. Respawn themselves have continually been very supportive and praising of their relationship with MS. They have openly said that the game wouldn't have been made without them, and that Sony snubbed their nose at them when they needed them....however, they are a business, and Respawn/EA want to sell as many as they can. That being said, I personally will stick with the XB1 version instead of switching over to PS4. Network is insanely important for this game, and the Res difference won't be that great, plus I'm sure all future bonuses would still go XB1's way. However, this will be great news if you ONLY have a PS4.

I bought this for the X1 and I haven't turned my X1 on for days, the game is a bore fest with nothing competitive about it,maybe its the dumb Ai bots that's ruined it for me!.

Good for them if they manage to bring it to PS4 the install base will help boost sells of the game. I tried it on the x1 and wasn't feeling it not my thing at all. I only put about 4 hours into it and then stopped....... I was just not having fun with it. I'm not downplaying the game at all it's just not for me I wouldn't hold my breathe though for titanfall the second one though is very likely.

ok im gonna lay it on the line. titanfall won't make it to ps4 if it does it will be right about the same time titanfall 2 is showed to the public. which would eventually mean right after 2015 e3, with 2 dropping in that fall. i mean sure it could make it to ps4 but by that time would you be interested, it won't matter cause xbox would already had its exclusivity it did its job. we all know ea and respawn won't miss out on titanfall 2 not going multiplat. unless ms buys respawn i don't see 2 being exclusive.

OT The game is phenomenal, I'm gen 8 lvl 50 with one challenge left before I regen. Lifetime exclusively for the 1st game means PS4 won't see the game without some underhanded tricks by all parties involved. Now as far as the sequel goes, who knows. In fact, I hope it does so that Respawn gets their proper due. I love these devs and more sales means more games from them. I could care less if Sony gets the title or not, I just want the devs hard work to shine. That is all.

My personal opinion on the matter is that they are just testing out the PS4 for part 2. Would make sense to put the original one (part 1) on the ps4 to understand how it works and figure out how to use their system. After all they don't have a Titanfall 2 made yet. So why wouldn't they to prepare the next game by testing what they have already and run it on the PS4? Then when the time is right drop the hammer for part 2 on all systems.

Who cares. If they do then good on them. Another game choice to make in the future. If not then good luck to them.

I dont own an x1 so this game is not on my radar. Make it so and I'll give it a look see.

I am just wondering if there was a time sensitive sales quota to hit on the x1 for MS to keep the exclusive agreement in place. Might make sense why they tried so hard to push copies of the game. You saw it come bundled and then with price cuts from retailers on top of the bundle. Then you saw the delay on the 360 as well.

Further I think publishers in general are going to stray away from these types of agreements in the future. I don't think there is as much money in it as they would like to see. But again it's all just speculation.

NOBODY WILL CARE IF TITANFALL COMES TO PS4, UNLESS IT COMES TOMMOROW SOON....It will be competing with too much, & lost amongst games PS owners are far more hyped for...Destiny, The Order, MGS5, & probably a new COD, just to mention a couple... I mean, I am happier & more hyped for Wolfenstein, as it looks like a better game for my tastes. Seriously, the only time for the game to release would be real friggen soon, otherwise sales will be dismal, as we all know the game isn't going to hold a candle to some of the other big guns due from July onwards. The game would also have to include a buttload more content, as like many XBOne exclusives, it seems like another downloadable title....Seriously, don't waste the time would be my advice to the developers, as time spent on this, is time wasted that could have been utilized to make Titanfall 2 a far superior single & multiplayer experience. And SonyAddict, DO NOT KNOCK BOTS, as EVERY online multiplayer game should offer the option of bots, it is a sin in this day & age NOT to have AI bots...and the more developers that include them, the better the AI will get over the years. It really peeves me when gamers complain about bots & say they shouldn't be in games, as they have the potential to prolong the life of a online portion of a game.

Microsoft released an entire package with X1 and Titanfall together. Yeah, it is EXTREMELY unlikely that Sony will get Titanfall 1. I say Titanfall 1 because Titanfall 2 would likely be a different story...

Mass Effect was an Xbox game (and PC) and went to Sony. Metal Gear made appearances on Xbox too, despite MGS4 not...so, anything is possible...except for Titanfall 1 jumping to PS4 anytime soon.

Even if it comes out of PS4 I don't expect there to be any improvements with the gameplay or graphics. I do think it would be a good idea to release the game on PS4. The only issue at this time is that the hype has died down for the game. Unless they can release the game this week, then they might as well don't release it. If they release later on this year alongside other big releases, the game would hardly sale at all.

Well, i tried it on PC (dunno how well it runs on Xbone comnpared to PC) and it was funny. But... i'd prefer another game on PS4, not TF.

I tried it for XBox. Really nice controls, very responsive. but the game itself is kinda boring and visually its lacking. I doubt porting it to PS would do the game any justice, but would be a good marketing tactic by Sony

This is not coming to PS4 it has been confirmed over and over again from any major legitimate source at Microsoft and Respawn Entertainment. Wishing for it won't make it happen. Not even the original Mass Effect was ever a "lifetime" Microsoft Exclusive this game is.

To be clear this GAME is NOT this series. If there is a Titan Fall sequel it may or may not release on PS4.

I have played it at a friend's house a few times. I think the pilot mobility is amazing, I think the Titans are interesting but they don't last long on the map. The player mobility is so smooth however that I started telling people they could expect it to be implemented in futuristic FPS going forward. Kind of like Gear's of War cover system being implemented in everything going forward.

I think Titanfall is an average game, and could care less whether it does or does not release on my PS4, Titan Fall 2 on the otherhand? You can kind of consider Titanfall as something that "could have been" if they take the feedback and oh I don't know HAVE A FREAKING SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN in Titanfall 2? Maybe that would improve things.

Titanfall 2 (or whatever it's sequel may be called?) I would ballpark a 75% chance by no means definitive but the possibility exists.

I bought an x1 and titanfall really do regret it, within two days was back on the ps4 playing kz and battlefield. I would rather sony invested in warhawk or star hawk 2, which The originals I think are both better than titanfall.

The question of the century. Bluepoint probably doesn't want to do another remake. Yet they could also just get nixxes to remaster and bring it to ps5+pc.
Fromsoft hasn't had a new major release since shadow of the erdtree nor will they probably have a new major title til next year at the earliest. (The co-op dlc I don't care for.) So now would've been amazing for a bloodborne remaster even.
