Warside Classes Update

"Recently I previewed Warside, the Russian Indie developed game that brings together attributes from both a classic platformer and an MMO shooter. Well they released a short video with their classes yesterday to entice you further. The video shows just a short bit of footage for each class, but it conveys enough to let you know which one you’d prefer." says calmdowntom

Warside Arrives on Steam, But Co-op Isn't Available Yet

"Warside is a freshly-released, turn-based strategy game for Steam from Lavabird and First Break Labs. We've been excited for it not just because of its lovely Advance Wars-style graphics and intuitive gameplay, but also for its promised co-op support. Well, now that the game is here, it turns out that co-op won't be arriving until the console ports come along. That's a shame, but the currently-available solo campaign and competitive multiplayer are nothing to sneeze at," says Co-Optimus.

The amount of hours I've spent with the Advance Wars over the years. Damn.

Neonridr624d ago

I wouldn't say they abandoned it, they just released a game last year for the series.

ZeekQuattro624d ago

So called fans abandoned the series not Nintendo. Days of Ruin bombed on the super successful DS and the remakes have yet to crack 1 million on the Switch even after mutiple quarterly financial updates. In both cases you had a high install base but "fans" couldn't be bothered to buy the either game.

I don't care what the excuse is for skipping the titles it just sends a message to Nintendo not to be bothered with new entries. Even FE fans got their acts together as that property also sold like shit on the DS but was able to recover and become a mainstream IP for Nintendo.

Warside, the new 2.5D platformer shooter, developed by Kraken Games, advertised as a MMO Action-RPG. This game sets up a rather unique art style with cartoonish drawings with sharp edges.
