VGChartz is always wrong, according to these numbers, Xbox One won this week.

I bet that Sony will announce that PS4 has sold over 8 millions at E3.

Interesting note: not a single Microsoft console has ever beat a Playstation. The PS2 crushed the original xbox, the PS3 outsold the Xbox 360 even when it had the advantage and now the PS4 is crushing the X1.

I ask again, if people are so upset about these submissions, why are they still getting approved?

Don't underestimate Microsoft it only takes one killer app/game another 6 months tables could turn.

I'm not really sure why people get so up in arms about these numbers every week. They are posted as rumor, and every time they are posted, we are reminded that they are just a "best-guess" really. They aren't set in stone, but for our purposes here we can use them as an estimate from week to week as to what is going on in the gaming world (it's really not the end of the world if they are wrong). Does it really matter? I don't think anyone believes that these numbers are infallible at all...yet I have noticed that over-exaggerating and praising numbers one way is seen as a good thing and no one bats and eye and agrees with it without question (despite no actual proof to say the numbers are better), where as praising numbers the other way is just stupid fanboyism and attacked relentlessly and told that the numbers are wrong and much lower (again with no solid proof to prove that the numbers are wrong).

If these numbers truly are fake, then getting happy about them is just as stupid as getting upset about them and visa versa.

I like using them as a quick indication of how the gaming world is going, nothing more, I don't memorize the numbers, copy them down, play the lotto with them, or bet in Vegas on them...I seriously just don't see the big deal. It's not a win/lose situation in my eyes unless you pick a side for no reason (and then get mad when the other side enjoys success...then it's only a loss).

It's going to be rather embarrassing for VGChartz when Sony announces 8 million sold and they have it at 7.6 million or something.

Funny irony is that you all say sh*t about nintendo and how is it going to die and still they have leading console Wii passed 100 milion sold consoles

The thing is we see XBONE loyalist mention TitanFall and ignoring that VGC has the PS4 three million ahead, and outselling in the US.

This same site that adjusted its numbers upwards for PS4 everytime the NPDs and Sony announces something.

How it is possible for the XBONE to outsell the PS4 in April, when it didn't do it in March? The XBONE was bundled with TitanFall, and the console price was lower... That is less of the case in April. I think some people are too deluded to see reason.

Lastly, TitanFall doing well is great for Respawn. We don't know how many of these game sales translate into console sales. Only then it benefits MS.

Fact remains... In MS's strongest Market, the PS4 is doing better. In the UK the concole is now £100 cheaper with TitanFall bundled... So for the price of the PS4 console, you get an XBONE and a game. Can this be maintained? Will MS do this worldwide eventually?

We all know the Story in the rest of Europe.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
