7 Greatest NES Accessories

Kezins.com goes 'Back in Time' to show us the greatest Nintendo Accessories. The 80's were chock full of 'Nintendo Gadgets' from the Power Glove to the Zapper. You can't forget R.O.B.

Just a personal opinion here, but the Power Glove shouldn't rank as one of the best NES gadgets. A buddy of mine had it when we were kids and damned thing barely worked like it was supposed to. Just speaking from personal experience. The NES Advantage was an awesome controller, although I think ASCII's NESMax analog controller was the best one ever for the system. Simple and functional, although your hands tended to sweat a hell of a lot.

yeah, my friend had the power glove and rob. both pretty useless but cool non the less. those were some high tech gadgets back in the day! haha, this article brings back memories of duck hunt with that zapper and always picking my favorite games to go inside the "special" jackets with the red nintendo logo on the side. the legend of zelda always secured a jacket with a red logo no matter what new game i got.

I'll give you the fact that the power glove was sort of useless, but it was still one of the greatest in a weird way.

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
