Eurogamer :
"More interesting is the performance of the two versions. While 1080p30 is the target, the PS4 release does the best job of sustaining that performance level. There are a few dropped frames, but virtually nothing impedes the flow of the gameplay. It's a different story on Xbox One, where we see the implementation of an adaptive v-sync - the game caps frame-rate at 30fps just like the PS4 version, but unlike the Sony platform, frame render time often slips over budget. At this point, the game flips the framebuffer as soon as the next image is ready, while the console scans out to the display, causing screen-tear
The end result is a technically underwhelming (albeit fairly fun) release that does the absolute bare minimum on PS4, but falls a bit short of even achieving that on Xbox One, which is somewhat surprising considering the minimalist visuals."

Let's celebrate Stan Lee the best way gamers know how, by looking at his most memorable virtual appearances. Excelsior!

OnlySP spoke to Beenox co-studio head and creative director Thomas Wilson about the company’s work on Spider-Man games. Between 2001 and 2007, Beenox did not develop a single original game. Instead, the studio worked as a porting house. Beenox’s experience with movie tie-ins led to the studio’s original work on The Bee Movie in 2007 and Monsters vs. Aliens in 2009, and its experience porting Spider-Man games resulted in the studio being handed the reigns to develop original Spider-Man titles in 2010.
Nice read. Wilson's candor is refreshing. He flat out says Activision did not give Beenox the budget, resources, or the time they needed. Really is too bad Activision squandered their opportunities with the Spider-man franchise. They could have made some really great games. Activision being Activision.
Always felt bad for this team. They did a lot of things right, but Activision screwed them over at every turn.

TechRaptor's Dan Hodges writes, "With Insomniac's highly promising Spider-Man right around the corner, let's revisit some of the web-slinger's worst video game outings."
Don’t forget about Spider Man 2 The PC Version which is worse than the console version. Web of Shadow PS2 version is also the worse than PS3/X360.
Best Spider Man game to date has to be Spider Man 2.
Worst Spider Man game to date I will have to go with The Amazing Spider Man 2.
The absolute WORST Spider Man game is, by far, the PSVR installment. I'd have more fun playing with dog shit than that game.
30 FPS cap seem kinda low for last gen graphics on next gen. Anywho another lazy a$$ developer/publisher who for the love Gawd can't spend a couple extra months to polish this turd and release Spiderman-2 game with the blu ray.
Looks identical on both
Both versions look bad still. DAT last Gen setback
PC version is an awful port from console, with literally no optimization. I have a FX 8350 with a GTX 760 and my FPS varies from 60 to 30 so often, it appears really sluggish. This happened with the previous game as well, you would think Beenox would of got the idea of good optimization since then.
This game sucks badly anyway.
