Final Fantasy Agito will hit Japanese smartphones as a free download with microtransactions for weapons and other items.
The iOS and Android game features characters from Final Fantasy Type-0, as well as new ones, and has players control a custom character as the 12th Class student in the Magic Academy.
Square Enix will end service for Final Fantasy Agito, its free-to-play smartphone spin-off of Final Fantasy Type-0, on November 30 at 23:59 Japan time, the company announced.
“After discussing it from various angles, we arrived at the conclusion that, in its current state, it is difficult to provide a service that satisfies our customers,” Square Enix said in the announcement.
Final Fantasy Agito, which is currently available on iOS and Android smartphones in Japan, is coming to Windows 10 later this year, Square Enix announced.
The news comes via Microsoft’s “De:code 2015″ event that kicked off in Tokyo yesterday (and runs for another day today).
BNR: Its hard to believe but this summer will mark the 9th anniversary of the Fabula Nova Crystallis announcement that brought us Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and Final Fantasy Agito XIII. Square Enix was looking to take the next gen consoles by storm. Final Fantasy XIII was to launch on Xbox 360 and PS3. Final Fantasy Versus XIII was only announced for PS3, and Agito XIII was announced for the PSP. Final Fantasy XIII eventually launched in the spring of 2009 followed by 2 direct sequels in 2011 and 2013. Final Fantasy Agito XIII eventually became Final Fantasy Type-0 and it launched on PSP in late 2011 in Japan not seeing the light of day in the US and Europe until its HD release on PS4 and Xbox One last month.
Just think, we can't get Type 0 over here.
It should be on PS Vita and 3DS or 2DS. I don't know any real player that plays phone games, Only casual players.

I remember when this, FF XIII and FF XIII-Versus were all supposed to be part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis saga.
this game is fully transated wil be released well patch in august team has translated it only thing is u need emulator or modded psp to play it.
i have pc own original game for this day to come where i can patch games umd myself
