The controller light is a real issue. It reduces battery life tenfold.

That's not exactly nitpicky.
There should be an option to turn it off. A battery saver option under "adjust devices".

i thought after people first started complaining about the light draining the battery, it was looked into and it actually used bugger-all of it? personally the light doesn't affect me at all, even in the dark. and the battery size is smaller, but i don't have day-long sessions at least without a break. it charges fairly quick too.

Just waiting for the next wave of games, thats the only issue for me. Nothing is perfect in life, nothing has ruined playing on PS4, used to the battery life, prepared for it......

The controller battery is great. I can play inFamous for many hours (game is heavy on vibration) without a recharge. The only thing I had was with the rubber wearing off gradually on mine.

The problem isn't the battery or the light in the DS4. The problem is that you only bought one of them.

Isn't the light an LED? It can't possibly be using that much energy. Sound takes energy too, it's probably the built in speaker and head phone jack that's using up the juice and not the LED.

Not being able to pause and resume your downloads. If I have 10 things downloading, I can't choose what I want to download first, without a lot of work around.

The light on the controller is pretty annoying sometime. Playing at night, in the dark (which is the best time and way to play a lot of games, IMO) there's an bright blue light shining on my screen and wall.

I'd agree about wanting the ability to organize your games. That'd be niiice

i agree but there are some things that bug me that seem like a bigger deal. the controller battery and LED are really kind of annoying to me. My ps4 also gets kinda noisy after playing a while. The non-customizable thing isn't a huge deal but like on the x1 you can pin games, apps, even shows to your home screen and its super handy.

I also kind of wish it multitasked more like the x1. the x1 is super fast at app switching, runs a realtime preview of the current app in a window on the dashboard AND you can snap apps to the side of the screen. its cool when you have a party and want to change things without having to dump out of your game screen and you can do it all with your voice. if the ps4 dash can "borrow" some of these concepts then man... that said - the ps4 is way better at organizing game related info and shares etc. notifications are probably better on the ps4

Well, its not a perfect machine, but its still early days. Lots of small tiny adjustments need to be made. What seems to be the most important is to let users have the freedom of options.

I don't like fast food cause...

1) Burgers never look as good as on t.v
2) Fries are cold 40% of the time
3) Nothing on dollar menu is a dollar anymore ($1.16)

Fries can actually be cold about 99.9% of the time, depends on the time you let it sit. There could be a thousand year old fry, and then it'll wake up and meet a robot named Bender, fall in love with a one eyed mutant beauty Lela, and plenty of others, and they're going to have some great adventures together.

I miss Futurama.

My nit-pick list:

Not able to rearrange the list of games to your prefereable order.

Controller batt drains way too quick.

Slows down alot, sometimes when I am on home screen my PS4 is struggling a lot. It's unbearable and most of the times I will have to restart.

browser sucks. Not that I really use it.

Mouse support? I can't seem to get my wireless mouse to sync up with my PS4.

These are pretty much my main complaints as well. Also frustrated with the lack of a unified searching system. So hard to find things on the PS4 whether they are on your system or in the store.

it happens when I have a game running on background. maybe livestreaming. I can't remember. But it happens a lot. closing all apps wont solve this so I have to restart.

I've never had the menus slow down, then again I replaced the hard drive with a hybrid sshd, so maybe it's hard drive related?

I'm holding back on buying a SSHD atm. 500GB enough for the time being. once it starts getting low I probably go for a 1-1.5GB SSHD. Any recommendations?

Show me a headset, not headphones that is wireless. I could use any phone type one on PS3. There isn't one I can find that works yet on PS4. I bought a Gioteck one as I hated the earbud that came with the console, but even that needs to be plugged into the controller.

I am still kind of wish Sony would have a newer UI than the same cross type they been using since the Original PSP days. It works and it is still good but MS has gone the blade designed to new intereface very 2 years or so and I wish Sony would put a little bit more effort into that. That is my only nitpick as I love everything about the system. Maybe a few more game wouldn't hurt as well, same with the XB1 and Wii U.

I think PS UI are normally quite good. Only problem I have with all of them is when you have loads of digital purchases it becomes a pain to navigate.

I like the library thing PS4 has but thats right at the end of the screen and you can't change the order.

Does anyone else notice that games that use the power of the PS4 make it loud, when i play COD ghost i can't hear anything but when i play killzone shadowfall or infamous the ps4 will go RUHGHHGHGHG

Here are mine:

It gets fairly loud in my entertainment stand when its been running for a while. Not quite as bad as the original x360 but pretty noticeable.

I really hate how bright the LED light on the controller is. I usually end up focusing on the reflection of it in my TV instead of the game. While we are on it, the power/standby light is also a bit excessive. It looks cool the first week you have it, but after that it feels a bit obnoxious when all the other gear is more... humbly lit shall we say.

The battery life on the controller does in fact seem to be surprisingly short.

I really wish I could re-arrange the dashboard. I also wish I could change the bg or at the very least colors. You could do it on ps3... don't get it.

I think its clever that you can see a trailer clip in the box art of games, but its pretty small to see and if theres a way to make it bigger, I have yet to find out how - that might not be saying much tho ;)

Sometimes after playing a game, I will go to the PS Store and it never populates. I usually have to reboot to get it unstuck. Not sure what thats about.

Small, minor things yes - but I hope they get updates soon as my experience will only get better.

OMG this dude needs to STFU. Seriously the Controller slipping? How is it sony's fault you cant figure out how to set a controller in your lap with out it slipping. That is not a gripe I don't even know what to say, all I know is your stupidity enraged me enough to make a flipping comment, and n4g why would you even post this. AHHHH! wow.
