Maybe an mission based open world that Starts with you playing as Sparda, and sometime in the game ceding the role to Dante. The open world would include both cities in earth and hell, and perhaps heaven? Why cant capcom and midway listen to me.

i hope they do do it, at least make it like dmc3 because 4 was sh1t:( they need to learn from there mistakes and advance the dante/sparda story forward instead of changing it

I'm really enjoying DMC4, but then, this is the first game in the series that I've played. Hopefully they crank out another one, either way.

Being a DMC fan I was kind of disappointed with DMC4 I would actually like if they made it more like 3 even the difficulty cuz after 3 playing 4 on Devil Hunter was a walk in that park were very few parts had any challenge

I would actually like to see a next gen Onimusha sequel :D

-No backtracking this time. I hate backtracking.
-Level multiplayable, (both dante and nero can play the same levels, like vergil in SE)
-Giving nero some new moves, the devil bringer needs more moves, maybe the abality to choose which buster, slam on ground, or spin them around etc...
-explain how nero got DB, and stuff, and how hes related to sparda.
-More costumes, like DMC3 dante, or Vergil costume.
-More yamoto moves.
-More bosses. like in 3.

the reason its weird is because ps3 exclusives look amazing, and are amazing, where as when its multiplatform ps3 gamers seem to notice, i mean dmc4 ccould of easily had 20 villians on screen im mean wtf,??? only 10 max? and im talking about many of thoes swords dont count. ps3 can easily handle this , this is probably why ps3 gamers are saying it should be exclusive to ps3,

to me i dont mind i think this dmc4 is an amazing game, nero became cool i thoguth he was gonna be a boring, but when i started playin as dante as antcipated, i was sooo happy, but had to learn him again because of playin nero soooo long like other ppl have said here

They should make this a PS3 exlcusive. The PS3 fans would be really happy and they would bring back where DMC belongs. Hey, worldwide, the PS3 version sold more than the 360 version.

I think you guys are morons saying that DMC4 wasn't good. It was an incredible game with all the action you can ask for and a decent length. The graphics were awesome, the enemies were unique and interesting, the weapons were polished and the bosses were phenomenal. The only problem with DMC4 that I saw was the story was almost non-existent. If they made DMC5 with the same graphics engine, threw in some new modes (Co-Op, more interesting BP, boss battle), gave nero and dante 1 or 2 extra weapons, and fleshed out the story, I think DMC5 will be a 10/10 game. Nero was a fantastic addition, and is just as fun to play, if not more, as dante. As far as multi-platform goes, why are you all such haters, who cares if it's multi-platform or not, as long as you get to play it it's all good. Do you ever think that maybe ppl have their respective consoles because they like certain games more and don't have enough money to own both, I doubt they give a sh**t about exclusivity, and with games costing $60, this whole gaming ordeal becomes a very expensive endeavor. So please, fanboys, go to the open section (PS. I'm a PS3 owner)

other then nero and okay graphics the game doesn't feel like it went thorough a next gen upgrade. Actually the story had almost nothing to do with anything 0.o explained nothing about why NERO is like that and it also felt short its was only 20 levels compared to its predecessors of 25 or more levels and SPOILER! it doesn't feel the same without hearing dante or ANYONE say "jack pot!" saying "lets rock!" is kinda lame.

Am I the only DMC veteran here that actually liked Nero? I could even go as far as to say I preferred playing as Nero over Dante. At least the Devil Bringer granted a little more excitment to boss battles.

you dumb prick, the concept trailer which shows Dante walking down the street and then starts to shoot at a camera, YEAH! that trailer was shown all running on the PS3 in real time, and i gotta say the graphics looked better than Killzon 2, it looked amazing, and at that time it was PS3 only, 1 year later it was anounced for the Xbox360, then when they showed a new trailer the game looked like a PS1 game compared to the firt trailer, thats cus of the limitations of the 360's hardware. by the way the PS3 version of DMC4 uses motion-blur, capcom clearly stated the PS3 version does infact use motion-blur, and the game sold more on the PS3 since it is a PS franchise and the game is more suited to the PS-controller because the face buttons are much closer to each other so its easier to pull off fast paced moves, the xbox controller is more spread out so makes fast pace moves harder to pull off, just take a look at pros playing the game, their always playing on the PS3, but i dont hate the xbox controller am just sayin

DMC4 was a bit incomplete...but the storyline rocked and changing styles is SO AWESOME!

I hate him as a character, but his Devil Arm was easily the coolest thing about DMC4, and if you can't see that...I'd be really really surprised.

capcom isn't that creative anymore, the whole arm thing they got from another one of their games called GOD HAND, they grabbed what failed in a solo project and implemented it in a known franchise thats all. i mean this whole arm thing i also believe was somewhat an inspiration from oh say liquid ocelot, if you know what im talking about here than you know what i mean.
than there's (dead rising) this game is cool and all although repetitive as hell, i mean where did you think capcom got the idea from? hmmm remember that old zombie movie where there are people trapped inside a mall full of zombies? hmm.

onimusha of course one of the most artistic games and yet original cough was also an inspiration of a konami playstation one title called (soul of the samurai).

even some of its most beloved characters are somehow an inspiration of other companies properties or just that, B.hood from marvel vs capcom 2, lol see what i mean. and than theres the blu bomber mega man, this was original until the x series came out swinging metriod style with all them upgrades legs,helmet arms ect you get my point.im surprised they haven't given him a morph ball upgrade neither. dark void looks awfully like another title roaming around, hmm maybe thats why they are getting sue.

and than there are the comparisons with bionic commando and a comic book character called cable. and although commando has been around for ages so has cable.

resident evil was probably about the only creative thing they've come up with in recent years and even than i still think about games like clock tower and alone in the dark series which have been around longer i assume.

to be honest okami in my opinion has been pretty much about the most creative ip in their line up in recent years.

with capcom man.. if it isn't a fighting game of some sort than it is a zombie type of game where it involves retracing or getting some orbs type of deal. example of these are. power stone, rival schools aka project justice, street fighter, night warriors dark stalkers, joe joe's bizzare adventure, plasma sword, even a mega man fighting game over seas. there are probably more roaming around but you get my drift. and its not like these aren't good game either is just that it gets annoying after a while, snk is no different in this regards, than you got what i like to call milking the zombie demon like games, resident evil of course, devil may cry, dino crisis 3 if anyone got to play that one which by far was like that movie jason x retarded, onimusha, and dead rising. stop milking these and try and go into different directions for a change.

started to get sick of it, but not that sick of it, i still enjoyed it, im glad if that was a last minute thing to make the game longer than carry on, but heck i just loved it knowwing dante kicks the bosses arz, the devil bring is kind of noobish but still a heck of a lot of fun, as it takes loads of health off compared to dants multiple moves etc.

DMC 4 was a little short for my liking but i found it to be a wicked game, so its only fitting that DMC 5 is gonna be amazing also, and from what i heard is that Vergil will be in this game.
