GamesAsylum talks to the developers behind the upcoming indie title Let's Go Camping! "With its beautiful, simple visuals and mix of open world exploration, monster hunting and camping, Let’s Go Camping feels a bit like the lovechild of Zelda and Skyrim, with elaborate narrative replaced with playful camping adventures"

VRFocus - Indie developer Steamburger Studios’ upcoming compatible first-person shooter (FPS) Let’s Go Camping! has successfully passed its Steam Greenlight campaign. The title will now be available to purchase on Valve’s digital store when it finally launches as a full experience. A specific date for said launch is not yet known, though the developer has said that the title is getting its full attention.

Julie Morley writes: "Let’s Go Camping! is a FPS roguelite dungeon crawler where there is no particular objective other than to survive and explore. As with the regular camping experience, you get to hike around and explore the right location to camp out. But things are not completely peachy, you still need to keep yourself alive. Explore. Hunt. Camp."

VRFocus - Indie developer Steamburger Studios has announced that it’s upcoming first-person shooter Let’s Go Camping! will receive support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset should it pass its Kickstarter campaign. The campaign hopes to raise $45,000 USD before 3rd May 2014. The title has also launched as Steam Greenlight effort where it hopes to secure enough community votes to launch on Valve’s digital storefront come full release.
Wonder how many hours of brainstorming it took before they came up with
"Lets go camping"
" Lets Go Camping" ??
* Sounds like an Ice cube or Adam Sandler movie title.
I do kind of like the art style though.
