Taiko Drum Master is another of those Bandai Namco franchises that doesn’t get as much attention as Tales or Naruto from the company’s anime fanbase, but has seen incredible success regardless. This week’s Famitsu magazine reveals that a new game in the series is in development for the Nintendo 3DS.

Taiko Drum Master: Don and Katsu’s Great Space-Time Adventure expands upon this with 3D maps. Famitsu reports that Don-chan will time warp to the past and future on a quest to protect history.
