I thought Titanfall sold more than Infamous in the UK?

Sethry1014437d ago (Edited 4437d ago )

Not according to these figures, if you believe VGCharts. This week it shows Infamous out selling Titanfall, but overall Titanfall holds a small lead.

It interested to see 3 PS4 games in the top 10. And also the huge difference between the sales of Ground Zeros on PS4 and Xbox.

ThePope4437d ago

Digital was probably big for TF.

It did,

Here is the lifetime total up to 29th March. The UK Sales charts from GFK tracking was for the end week of April 5th.

______________Weekly___Total_ ___Week#
inFamous SS___24,705___102,105____2
Titanfall________19,480___182 ,324 ____3

No_Limit4437d ago

LOL, the disagrees on the actual list based on the chartz, I guessed it is not the result that some of you wanted to hear.

That was dualshockers by: chart tracks. I'm not sure about the reliability of any source but that's what you are referring to I assume.

corvusmd4437d ago

Titanfall did sell more than infamous in the UK (and worldwide). The fact that even with an extra week of "getting old" Titanfall is only selling SLIGHTLY less than Infamous is impressive. If inFamous sells more than 19,480 games next week,...THEN it's possible that inFamous is closing the sales gap with Titanfall (unless TF gets a resurgence for some reason).

B-radical4437d ago

That is from 29th of last month

Samsara824437d ago

If you are referring to the announcement we heard, that was for last week, these are thhe numbers for 2 weeks ago if you notice there is no elders scroll on the lost which finished first last week.

inFamous and PS4 on top, as should be.

Software_Lover4437d ago

They actually tracked 278 wii and 71 psp's? Who the hell is still selling psp units?

SamPao4437d ago

Its actually sellung pretty decently :)

Kribwalker4437d ago

These dates are for the week prior to the numbers released this morning. This is full launch week numbers for infamous, chart track today was for the next week where titanfall outsold infamous, although chart track said they were within 3000 units between infamous and titanfall that week

truefan14437d ago

Infamous outsold Titanfall for the week but that drop happened in the launch week. Titanfall will regain the number 1 spot next week. 36% attach rate for TF on XB1 and 14% attach rate for Infamous and ps4. This is shocking seeing as it is one of the big 3 for playstation. Of course I let places like n4g, neogaf, and in cloud my logic on how much infamous would sell. I figured 40% attach rate at minimum.

This is why there is a push for multiplayer in games.

Haha big three for Sony... Dumbest comment yet for a true pro troll.
More like one of the big Ten for Sony

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

dveio31d ago

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing31d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9231d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit31d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing31d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9231d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
