From Strategyinformer.com: "Parkour, the act of utilising an environment to propel oneself from one point to another, is rarely the sole feature of a videogame. But considering the ever growing popularity of parkour, it's odd that there's so few modern games that incorporate the freeform activity. This might just change however, if a recent addition to Kickstarter, titled Lemma, has anything to do with it.
Lemma, by Evan Todd, puts players in control of Joan Emmerson, a physics graduate whose colleague enters a peculiar, voxel based realm – the world of Lemma. Naturally, Joan wants in on what is clearly the inter-dimensional discovery of a life time and enters Lemma herself. Once inside, players are essentially left to their own devices – free to run and jump their way through the blocky world, exploring it at their own pace."

The idea of a videogame game based on the world of free running is not a new one, the idea of course being popularised by Electronic Arts and their Mirror’s Edge franchise. Parkour isn’t a new topic to virtual reality (VR) either; we’ve seen several videogames based on the topic with varying degrees of similarity to the aforementioned EA offering.
GGSP writes: The devs could have done a better job on the level design. There were just a few points where I had to resort to just randomly wandering about and trying things until I stumbled upon the solution. But the core mechanics of Lemma work really well.

With the ever-growing list of games available in the market today it is only becoming harder and harder to find and choose the next title to invest and indulge in. With the countless abundance of titles we are provided there are many that don’t live up to their proud boasts of innovation and creativity.
But there are some that truly exceed expectations and are testaments to the ever evolving state of the gaming world.
So we here at Gearburn want to pay our respect to the following three titles and tell you why they deserve some of your time. Let me assure you, it will most certainly not be time wasted.
Lemma and Monstrum are both really entertaining, unique games. Anyone who enjoyed Mirror's Edge should definitely pick up Lemma.
