Booze-ignited bullets and country doctoring are only the beginning.
Spiffy
"Skip-ahead" approach could help open up the game to non-hardcore gamers; seems willing to take risks.
Iffy
Voice work seems overacted; inventory may be more annoying than useful.

It’s part of the GOG Preservation Program, which ensures it stays running on modern PCs.

NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk await.
A really good month this time.
Don't care for NBA but its pretty cool that Destiny 2 is now completely? with all dlc? available via ps+ essential for those who have it since years.
Also Alone in the Dark and Bomb Rush will be played through by me.

PS Blog - "From May 28 to June 11, take part in player activities, bonus PlayStation Plus content, exciting offers, and more."
Overall great deals for everyone I guess.
For me personally though:
• "players who join PlayStation Plus during this year’s celebration can save up to 33% on select 12-month memberships."
• "players who are currently a PlayStation Plus Essential or Extra member, save 33% on the remainder of your membership when upgrading to PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe."
Ehhh ... Days of Play last until 11th. My subscription expires June, 14th.
I literally am laughing at me rn.
Will see about getting my kid a cheaper PS Plus sub so he can backup and transfer his saves again. Really wish that was free ala XB.
Hopefully Destiny 2 The Final Shape comes with a free gear level upgrade like last year’s PS Plus offering. To bring you up to speed with all the content and everyone else. I still need to do a Nightfall Strike on Grandmaster difficulty, but ain’t got time to grind.
More like Days of Meh.... no specialized controllers or systems like in 2018 and 2019.
This is their way to counter Nintendo Switch 2 launch week. I might get the discounted annual premium subs, but I think the game lineup is weak.
"Not that there's anything stopping you from swinging a lit chair into a zombie's face to kill it forever. You'll even get to enjoy some dual-analog melee mechanics if you do so. But evidently, sometimes the situation will call for flaming bullets. "
This game is going to be bad to the bone.
That skip feature worries me. Imagine people that will be fast-forwarding games in future.
As for the rest of the game, it looks more than interesting and is a must have for me.
Until I heard there was a PS2 and Wii version in the works. How good could this game really be? Usually when a next-gen game comes out for all consoles it blows
Some Examples:
King Kong, Splinter Cell, Transformers, Iron Man, COD3, Tony Hawk, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, Dragon Ball Z, etc.
Games coming out this year like Ghostbusters and Star Wars: Force Unleashed look cool but how can they live up to the hardware when their are PS2 and Wii versions in the works????
This game is missing the mark on what a horror game should be. Think about every horror movie you've seen and what kind of weapons they employed. Its always something brutal and badass, a chainsaw, an axe, a shotgun, a flame thrower. Thats the kind of weapons you wanna bring when you're going toe to toe with the supernatural.
But now this game want me to confront the army of darkness with a packet of blood, a bottle of lighter fluid, a matchbox, and some double sided tape? WTF!? That isn't visceral or thrilling at all, its lame.
