It seems like its intended to be an extension of their tablet line, so I wouldn't expect much from it, given how badly they butcher Android to make the Fire OS.

Its more a streaming device than game console, unless--against all odds--Amazon Game Studios manages to make some really good games. But, even then, the WiiU has demonstrated that a console needs more than just a few good first party titles.
