The Elder Scrolls Online: Early Access Begins Today

The Elder Scrolls Online will release next friday, April 4th, but the early access kicks off today for the the digital Imperial and Standard Edition pre-purchases. Furthermore, the physical pre-orders will have access to the servers on April 1st and assure their three-day head start bonus.

I wouldnt say dead but it wont be very successful untill it is free to play, and by that time people would have moved one to another game

@TRD4LIFE As much as i would love for this game to be another smash elder scrolls game, I just dont see it happening. I havent played any MMOs but when i saw the elder scrolls on it, I was interested, but after seeing countless previews and reading articles with concerns, I cant ignore the glaring flaws

Eh, I don't think this game is going to be as successful as some hope. But I do hope those that are trying it enjoy it. I played several beta weekends and I'm just not really interested in an MMO atm, not unless they start doing something exciting and new.

I was bored after half an hour in the beta its not nealy as fluid as a single player elder scroll I guess I am sticking with guild wars 2 and ff14...

p.s subscription and a cash shop is a horrific cash grab you cant do both...

The xbox version requires gold although ps4 version does not need ps plus!

I rarely give negative feedback so I will say it only once.
This game had so much potential like Swtor did before it released. Now after the beta it doesn't feel good at all. I feel alone rather than being with people online. Here's why:

-Crafting system should have always stayed in the city and not in remote locations.

-Online player experience is crippled because you can rarely find people. You gotta search for players across a vast world. Especially crafters now.

- The setting is set in between Oblivion and Skyrim which to me turned me away since announcement. Should have been set after Skyrim.

-Gameplay mechanics are fined tuned a little bit but not as much as I would have liked.

-Zenimax always leaves glitches in their games and doesn't know how to make a strong playable game. Remember Fallout: New Vegas and how it was plagued with glitch's and such.

-Subscription based games are only deserving of the title if they made a solid game. This game just does not hold it's ground among other mmo's. After playing today I can finally say I'm glad I canceled my preorder.

Elder Scrolls should have always been a Single Player game that's what made it awesome in the first place. Sure it would have been cool to play with friends but that's not why we bought the game. We bought the games because it had a deep campaign that ran us 150+ hours.

In ending, this game reminded me of Swtor in every aspect and what it tried to accomplish out of the gate. This game will have a similar fate of Swtor because it lacks innovation and creativity in all aspects of the game. I wish they just kept good games away from online play.

Anyways that's my opinion. I hope all of you enjoy it and experience it differently than I have. I'm going back to FFXIV: Realm Reborn.

Eh no, it's set roughly 800 years before Morrowind, just for the record.

Zenimax did not develop anything they are publishers the ESO developers are Zenimax Online Studios, it's brand new and ESO is their first game.

Really dude? Zenimax formed the online studio. So where are you getting this "New" thing from.

So they slapped an "Online Studio" to make their company name longer. Same company still. Even though I made a mistake and I will correct it. Sorry for that but, I still believe it will have the same fate as Swtor. Money doesn't buy you success. It's the quality of the product you release and the fans that support it. Just remember that.

SMOOOOOOOOOOTH launch! Only bug I have ran into is the "horse dismount" bug. No lag, no ques, tons of people! Haters are going to hate. Enjoy your F2P crap games (GW2 is B2P). This game will stay P2P for a long time. For the Covenant!
