Avoiderdragon: When TowerFall was released on the Ouya back in June 2013, many called it the biggest reason to get the microconsole, but many other factors on the contrary made it difficult for gamers to be convinced, and the little box of wonder made possible by Kickstarter languished with its underpowered hardware, problematic controller, and minuscule game library. With the release TowerFall Ascension for the PC and PS4 though, those who’ve always wanted to try the game can now do so without having to get an Ouya. For those who still want an Ouya for some reason, like serving as a media box or for playing emulators, then it’s still good to go. TowerFall Ascension though is not something to skip over though.

It's right that we recognize the 12 best indie games of the eight generation of gaming. It would be remiss to ignore the impact they've had.
Hollow Knight was a masterpiece. I cared less for the arena combat (Gods, not in the in-game arena) but everything was tight and the exploration was extremely enjoyable. Absolute masters of their craft in level design. I hope Silk Song gives the bees a second chance since their area was only a short subsection.

TowerFall Ascension is free right now at Epic Games Store. It is free until December 21 at 10 AM. Once you claim it, it’s yours to keep.
