PSU Writes:
Welcome to the second part of our Missing PS3 Titles feature, where PSU takes a look at some of the most elusive PS3 games announced thus far. This time around, we examine titles including The Getaway and Data-Fly, both of which many feared to have been scrapped after a decidedly lengthy hiatus. Fortunately, however, with recent updates from both Sony and ORiGO, we're able to shed some light on these highly anticipated games after nearly two years of silence.

The most expensive PS2 games are usually the most niche from genres like horror. 505 Games usually is attached as well.

"I found some photos that I don't think have ever seen the light of day"
Getaway could have been a blockbuster but ended up being a frame rate jank feat. Absolutely horrible
The Getaway had a good script, good location and an early yet janky cover system. All that potential was wasted unfortunately.
GB: "With this feature, we take a look at 15 of the best open world games that have a gangster theme."
I sort if disagree with The Getaway. Playing it all those years ago, it had a dodgy control system, more so vehicles, was slow and was graphically unfinished. The sequel was even worse and the third game on PS3 was canned. I think Sony should take both games and merge them into one (as with the soon to be released Max Payne 1 and 2). Weird how Sony messed up The Getaway never to be seen again.
Data fly is/was for 360. Check site of developer.
Getaway 3 will be released in 2009, 8 days has new name and one of Sonys secret weapons for E3, coming this year.
A silly article really. Could'nt people just hazzard a guess at them games been still in development.
BTW both 'Datafly & Getaway 3' are PS3 exclusives.
I was very interested in Data Fly. We know that Getaway 3 is been working on, but we haven' hear anything about Data Fly for years now
Well the funny thing is that all these games that Sony announced at some point are still in production & will be released on this system at some point. Why in the world Sony announces the games soo early. I mean if Getaway 3 is going to release in 2009/10 why announce it in 2006?
This is a pretty good series on PSU. I liked Part 1. Hopefully there will be a Part 3 (White Knight Story?)
