Theres nothing else i can say about microsoft

NO_PUDding6616d ago

Well you can say if you got it flaunt it, but Microsoft are just careless.

Perhaps pay up to an LEDC everytime our search is used is better.

Getting paid to buy "select products". Not saying anything yet, but Microsoft products anyone? "30c in return for buying a console over $300 by using an online service with a specific search engine, how could I resist! :D"

EDIT: ice_prophecy showed me the error in my statement and I have made a correct comment below. Sorry for the mistake <3

ice_prophecy6616d ago

"The amounts range from two per cent of the purchase price to 30 per cent."

Its 2-30% of the purchase price buddy ^^.

Mc Fadge6616d ago

My humblest apologies for such a mistake ^______^

Reading it again, it sounds too good to be true! Though, I'm guessing it will be exclusively for Microsoft products and will be similar to a cash back then :3 That being said, I'm guessing they're trying to pull the audience into digital world? A smart move if this is the case, but will it work? Time will tell.

ice_prophecy6616d ago

I still think tis a trap though :D

ice_prophecy6616d ago

Let us say that, hypothetically, this was a good decision.

I suppose then that Google could also introduce this, then Google will still be > than Microsoft in terms of search?

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

Scissorman76d ago

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
