Gamersciz wanted to make a quick post noting that Patch 2.2 is now live and can be downloaded. However we, like many others, had an issue when trying to download. So we searched the web for an answer and sure enough there was one. However, it was on the Lodestone forums specifically and we can only imagine that not everyone goes to the forums often (if ever). So we figured we would make a single post showing specifically how to fix the issue. Below you will find the fix for what seems to be the main error everyone is encountering.

Interesting. I will try the base game free trial when it comes out. I heard you can try the it as long as you want with Lvl 70 cap.
Soon with lvl 80 as Shadowbringers (3rd expansion pack) will be in the free trial.
