
Atari have responded to fan concerns over the PC version of Rollercoaster Tycoon 4, after it was revealed that the game would first release on mobiles and tablets with accompanying free-to-play shenanigans.
"We can't share that much, but the PC version will definitely be a completely different game," said senior director of marketing Anthony Chien in an interview. "There's a lot of diehard RC fans that want a PC experience, they want all different sorts of things.

I really, really... Really... Hope so... This was something I gave up on long ago, but now it's real. Please don't ruin it, Atari.
Completely different doesn't mean good. I hope that it stays away from today's trends and sticks with the formula that worked.
It seems in recent years that all of my old favorites are being ruined with their new releases. Will have to wait and see if this has the same fate.
