VRFocus Preview: EVE Valkyrie on Project Morpheus

VRFocus - Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has been showcasing their recently revealed Project Morpheus with a number of different titles. The Deep and The Castle Demo were available to play on day one of the Game Developers Conference (GDC), and the second day saw the latter replaced with CCP Games’ EVE Valkyrie; a surprising announcement in the first place and even more surprising just how well it performs on Project Morpheus.

The Deep and The Castle were the only 2 demos running on PS4. The rest were running on PC.

"Shuhei Yoshida revealed that the GDC demos of The Deep and The Castle are running on PS4, with Thief and EVE Valkyrie supposedly running on a PC dev kit."

The UI on the PC is so complicated I have no idea how they would ever be able to do it on the console. Though I would also welcome this if they could figure out a way.

I remember years ago when they brought wing commander to the SNES console. If it could be done then, why not now?

Are a bunch of games, some of which are nearly 10 years old not one being from 2026. Barely one from 2025.

I do like the irony of the closing paragraph though, "Why VR Adventure Games are Thriving". Really buddy?

That’s because it’s his favourite VR adventure games thus far, a great game always a great game regardless of age - Half life 2/ Ocarina of time - are old but still among the greatest games of all time. The irony of it is several are from last year, depending on platform, have you even played VR?
