SteamFirst: One of the most watched participants of this years Game Developers Conference has been the Oculus Rift. Today, the company proved why by unveiling the Rift Development Kit 2 (DK2). This is not a retail model but it is said to be very close to what is expected from it and anything developed using the DK2 will be compatible with the consumer Rift, which still has no estimated release date. Though it’s intended for developers, anyone can pre-order the DK2 for $350 on the Oculus site. Tempted much?

Zombie Army VR is creeping onto VR headsets later this month, and here's everything you need to know about Rebellion's latest.

Morels: Homestead, a relaxing game in which you can create your own unique homestead, is available now for PC VR.

Electronic Arts has confirmed that while F1 23 will support PC VR it will not support PSVR 2 on PlayStation 5.
That's fine. GT7 would overshadow it anyway at it has open wheel and regular cars.
Should have been spending their time updating Squadrons with better resolution, frame rate, haptics, etc as there isn't a game like that on PS VR 2 yet.
But it's EA. They don't think.
A wasted opportunity, but I don't buy EA / Codemasters stuff anyway. Grid Legends just came out on Plus and I haven't touched it. Why would I when I have GT7 and PSVR2?
Oculus is just going to keep getting better and better
They have hinted at a 2014 release date for a while and I honestly believe that is what they are shooting for. If it doesn't make it out in 2014 I think it will definitely make it out in the first part of 2015. I honestly think it will be in 2014, though. There are already a lot of games with Rift support that are coming out this year and it wouldn't make sense for the Rift itself to be too far behind.
At GDC during an Engadget interview Palmer Luckey was asked when the consumer Rift would be available and he said "we are getting close...because we do know when we are shipping"..."we' re moving as fast as we can and we know what we need to ship, so...it'll be soonish".
