"Studio grade special effects will provide unprecedented visual fidelity. With full screen anti-aliasing, motion blur, internal lens reflections, and depth-based color grading, players will experience a picture that is sharp, smooth, and full of detail"

gah - Lens flare (internal lens reflections).... Doesn't anyone realize that is a sign of flawed optics and not a cool feature at all...

And I still argue against motion blur .... how do they say the image sharp and smooth if they are using it?

motion blur. Right focus on an object, now move your head side to side, the object becomes blurry, but that doesnt mean your vision isn't sharp does it?

Admittdly it can be used to help hide flaws in some cases, but I don't think KZ is one of these, motion blur is realistic and personally I think adds a lot to creating the right "feel" within an FPS games.

It's called bad peripheral vision....

Not when you turn your head quickly. Did it bother you in Uncharted? I thought they hit it right on the head in that game.

Good example, motion blur done correctly can add a lot to a game. The best I have seen so far is Crysis and console wise, MGO, the motion blur used when in FPS mode is brilliant.

They also use it to "dramatize" your movements, especially on consoles, turning 180 degrees in reality is much quicker than that in games when you have to wait for the character to turn at their set speed, the motion blur helps to give the illusion of a quicker movement.

With true next-gen audio the player is further immersed in the world, supporting 7.1 surround and location-specific audio with wave tracing. Players will not only notice the difference between indoor and outdoor but also experience sound and music that are dynamic and contextual.

I don't see any gameplay elements or something about AI in that fact sheet.

Is Guerrilla focusing on what really matters?
