"What separates WildStar from the rest of the pack is its full emphasis on the multiplayer and traditional components of MMOs, staying true to the features that the MMO crowd want while simultaneously evolving each of them in a new direction. The combat isn't a turn-based whacker, but full-on action comprised of free-aiming abilities and avoiding telegraphs."

Justin van Huyssteen from NoobFeed writes - The Metaverse is a nebulous concept that has been floated about, by some, as the next big thing, and people often want to jump on board these kinds of things. Metaverse has been in the news a lot, but should it be in the news as often as it is? Or is it just another gimmick?
I have no interest in a metaverse, just give me a good single player game. And to answer your question: no, it isn't.

Carbine Studios announced in September that the game would be shut down and that the studio would be closing. Since the announcement, players have been able to enjoy the full game without restriction and with a number of in-game events firing off for the last time.

WildStar offers epic high adventure, where players make their mark as Explorers, Soldiers, Scientists or Settlers and lay claim to a mysterious planet on the edge of known space.
