Hardcore Gamer: What happens when non-Japanese game developers attempt to create a Japanese-style role playing game? One with all the tropes, anime aesthetics, and presentation values typical of a Nipponese video game? Well… it’s a bit of a hit or miss affair really. The indie developed Pier Solar is probably one of the better examples of a solid Japanese-style RPG developed by team with little to no Japanese staff. Then you have something like Sudeki, which was a rather unusual title released for the original Xbox back in 2004.

Nick writes: "Something that you don’t see that much off in today’s gaming release schedule is a new Western third-person action-RPG with the colourful charisma of Sudeki."
I'm really surprised to see a article about Sudeki, even if is not a very deep one. I remember picking this up after the original Fable because I was craving more RPGs in my life and I was suprised by it.
It was in no alway comparable to Fable. To tell the true if you put it against most other RPGs of the time it would lose in pretty much all aspects. But at the same time it was colorful, had a somewhat decente worldbuilding and was very fun to play.
It's a shame that the game flopped hard and therefore any chance of a sequel was scrapped. But at least the game is available on Steam for dirty cheap ($6), so it's easy to play this days.
Too bad the game isn't backwards compatible. I have a copy sitting on my shelf but I never got around to it and digging out the old Xbox and its controller isn't really something I want to do any time soon.

ThisGenGaming says:"The first batch of OG Xbox games was announced on Twitter and Major Nelson’s site, but he also mentioned that a new batch of games will be made available Spring 2018. Here are 15 games we would love to see being made Backwards Compatible..."

SFL Chronicle: There are times that I play games that get a bad reputation and I immediately understand why. But then there are those moments when I play games that get a bad reputation and I can’t, for the life of me, figure out the logical reasoning behind the complaints thrown at them. This top five is a list of games that are considered “bad” by most of the gaming media – and in some cases the gamers themselves – that are are actually pretty damned good.
5.The first Fable was great, it was the gradual decline of the sequels that people hated.
4. Never heard of it.
3. I really hated the way Samus was portrayed, but I feel the Prime games were always going to be a tough act to follow.
The system used to fire missiles is godawful though.
2. Never played it, I should probably do so.
1. I liked the battle system , but the story was pretty bad and the dialogue atrocious.
I didnt realize Fable was considered a "bad" game, I thought people and critics really loved it
I have yet to get FF X-2 a try though, its on my to do list
Lol this brings back memories. Memories of seeing it in the bargain bin at EB Games for $3.99 and never picking it up -- who's with me?
Actually enjoyed this game and was hoping for a sequel.
